- pass
- run with HB
- run with QB
- scramble set to always

And of course I am running an all zone defense, but also switching that up some. Cutting my blitzing CBs to add 2 WRs. Replacing a LB with a blitzing LB and a DT with a pass rushing DT.

I don't think there's enough SP to get your QB to do both competently. My best guess is to try and limit passing to screens and "deep shots" designed to clear out room for him to scramble.

Definitely want to build a D around some form of 3-4 base at some point.

Only problem with this is LBs are so much more expensive than DTs.

All my zone pass defenders are only pumping power tackle for knock loose and fumbles.

Believe it or not, I got some pretty decent numbers for my S*.

Personally I would love to have a passing offense that heavily targets HBs and FBs out of the back field as something that would be different. What I cannot seem to do is get QBs to throw them the lions share of pigskins. This may be due to backs needing much more sprinting/quickness to hit their "sweet spots" where the QB will throw them the rock but I doubt that they could even hit the numbers needed to get the bulk of passes thrown their way.

We tried a receiving FB on our first team, it was awful, there just aren't as many good RB routes as in GLB 1, very few of the good passing plays come from formations with FBs right now and the bigger issue is you can't do custom QB reads in GLB 2 so the QB ignored them for the most part. Rattled is also total bullshit for this, but if WG do add a lot more plays or let us do custom reads at some point it could be better. On top of that, for some reason in GLB 2 catching a wide open pass in the flat is harder than catching something in double coverage 15 yards down the field, there's no semblance of risk versus reward for long versus short passing so everyone just chucks it deep.

I want to say it was Bonn Dynamo that had the first dominant RB passing team in GLB 1, is anyone still around from that team (Dan maybe)?

This is true and I usually favour a 4-3 but we'll see

This is THE main issue with passing.

Bonn Dynamo was big for 2 reasons. Their HB screen game was nearly untouchable and their zone defense was impenetrable. I don't think I would call that a dominant RB passing theme more than just they had the right stacks (especially at TE) to pick up chunks of yards through screens.

Dominant HB passing might have been led by OFG as HULK was always chasing ridiculous speed at rec HB.

This was definitely the case and I remember that Bonn zone D!

I really want to make a beastly KR/PR FB... there's a few out there... just not sure how to build them

a dominating power WR would be fun to have...

also a defense full of 100 hit power guys would be fun too

Use a S* FB...seems to work well. Makes a good short yardage back too

What's was Valhalla's offense like when they won world league a few times in a row the first time?

I had something in mind that'd basically be a hybrid between Ground Assault and HAHA.

2 S* DEs, 2 S* LBs, 2 S* CBs and a pair of S* safeties, one SS and one FS. Toss in a chunk of non-S* DTs, a non-S* pure blitzing OLB for passing teams, a non-S* pure run stuffing LB so we can occasionally run 4-3 against running teams (because C1 CB Fire too op) and the defense is set.

Offensively, a S* HB with maxed power running, high sprinting & acceptable receiving skills, a heavily physical/mobile offensive line, non-S* QB (probably x2 for a rotation so we can skimp a bit on cond/tough) and like 8 WRs just to fuck over opposing CBs' morale/energy. Toss in 1 TE so we can run like 50% 3WR and you're not gonna have a good time trying to defend us.

Pretty balanced. Granted they could have done just about anything at the time. Their builds were well better than any team besides blaze and their va concept was better than blaze.

8 sounds wasteful IMO. Some of them will hardly get any playing time at all. If you could run all 5 wr it would be better.
