I believe they fold the league that has the most teams reset and/or CPU.

So Season 6 (Gemstones) might've just been a coincidence. I guess we'll find out.

Anyone remember where the S10 Rookie league that folded was listed on the league page? I want to say it was below Saladin, but not sure.

Folded league was Scipio so yes it was below Saladin.

it kind of started with SD03 announcing in the team forum that he's done with the game. He put it out there that somebody else can take the team & we don't have to reset, but on a personal level, this game is just going in a direction that I can't get behind. As soon as something works, they go out of their way to nerf it without giving anybody a forewarning. It's highway robbery - give us your money so you can try to do something and then we can make it so that the thing you're trying to do fails. The moving target just isn't something I can get behind.

The moving target is the best part about this game. It was the best part about GLB1 before it just became a stagnant boring sim.

There's also the meta changing, which is nice.

I'm sure a lot of new teams coming up will have rosters designed for heavy usage with robbers/lurks. There's likely a lot of Unguided Missile clones already out there in the rookie/soph levels.

My biggest complaint about "the moving target", is if there's a sweeping change that seriously effects certain builds, either a possible full reset for those builds or some extra plays should be added for the older builds to possibly have some success with.

Check out GLB Classic if you prefer a stationary target.

GLB classic, where you can either build to have fun and suck in the long run, or build for the long run and be bored as fuck until then.

This definitely should be the case when major overhauls are made in the offseason. Especially considering the fact that GLB2's staff usually gives us the news 1 or 2 days before the start of the new season. You would think that if major changes are in the works, they'd be a season ahead of the curve with what is coming and be able to announce changes that will go into effect the following season, which would give people enough notice to adjust accordingly.

They want to keep the forum tears to a minimum. That's why They wait until the last minute. They don't want a debate on their hands...

Kinda like when your parents didnt tell you where you're going. They just put you in the car and you end up at the dentist...
