Had to try something... You are a better team.

No credit though for containing the "top" offense?

Just did some brief scouting, and that's a nice adjustment (don't know if that's what you always do), but you put your S* SS in at LILB for ZEB. It helped that DA didn't have a lot of ZEB beaters but the few times you ran it against 3WR sets it did really well. Even the touchdown you allowed with ZEB was pretty solid D, just didn't get the rolls to go your way.

I put in my pass D roster when playing them... I figured my pass D players would have an easier time stopping their run than my run D players would have to stop their pass.

A little bit of what happened in my Whoville game. They were 52% Run on First Down before playing me and they went 75% Pass on First Down against a mostly Run-orientated D. Was good call by them.

Rock, Paper, Scissors. It happens.

Credit for mixing up your offense and taking a chance.

Credit for playing great D.

Only two times I've seen Veteran play, and both times they were strictly a 2WR offense. Pretty interesting decision there. I guess I should feel flattered?

Had only looked at one game you played and you used a lot of cover 1 against 2 WR so I went with it. Obviously didn't work out because you ended up getting a lot of double and triple coverage on the WR's. Plus steering clear of sacks from UM of course.

Ah ok. For awhile there I thought it might be a 0-0 tie. Both offenses were looking about as inept as possible. You sold out on stopping the screen game, and I simply couldn't make you pay with the other 2WR routes. It was brutal, drops, sacks, bad throws leading the open WR into the defender.

I mean, why not call destroy the screen game if I can't expose that D playcall?

Crazy game PA. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/193583

Nice job forcing 5 Turnovers.

Just another ho hum day at the office for Belgarion. 56 Targets, 28 Catches and 385 yards.

Cdog: please insert some snarky remark into this thread about how I didn't build my Passing team to handle blitz spam. Please.

Because I'm not sure how a 62 Toughness, 100 Heart, 85 Pass Consistency QB with a dominant Pass OLine that has 70+ Block Consistency could be built to deal with the blitz spam better.

But I'm sure you'll point out the one attribute I didn't invest in somehow.

Drop Back Grip yo.

4 INTs in one game daaaaaamn. Just looked at the pick 6. That ball was on a rope! Right to the defender, I think that nearly 70 pass power backfired on you

It probably did. Even though it was against me, at least this looked like an INT in an NFL game where you know the defender is gone for a TD. Sucked, but was a thing of beauty.

Another INT. http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/193583/1694796 Nice jump pick.

Man I cannot wait for my zone defense to play at Vet level. They should be getting picks left and right like the above. Those guys actually look like they were playing zone, although the play says they were in man. Here is a similar one from my last ladder game:

You can't make that argument, when you know you haven't built the QB to be a blitz beater. You built him to be a Belgarion feeder, intentionally slowing down his reads and ensuring that WR3 gets the target more often than not. Mercy Flush was built to be a blitz beater, but the issue with that setup is that the WR's are rather slow and against the 3% of teams who have a 100 speed ROLB or equiv he struggles, but others tends to handle the blitz well.
