Depends on what type of player he is. My CBs have no power tackle.

They also cause lots of hurries.

Or do you think power tackle is the only real fumble cause on QB sacks?

I don't think it's worth the skill point investment. Most of your fumbles will come from pub stomping league games but against good ladder teams I think the skill points could be better spent elsewhere instead of heavily investing in strip tech since you need the skills to actually be able to reach the QB first.

Unless you maxed out the best skills and strip is the next best skill to invest in.

Possibly, it's certainly blegh on some of my Veteran players that have invested heavily into it, but from more experience I've realized they were just flat out built wrong for heavy strip usage. Going to have a linebacker on HAHA with 75-80ish strip, but that won't be for a loooooong time.

do you think there's something to all the best owners/DCs think strip tech is a waste of points, while you think it helps?

Going to be an experiment in strip tech. Will have no power tackling, and tackling tech only to 25. While Grip and Strip will be maximized with two cap boosters into grip.

I'm 99% sure that's not going to work.

But where else is his SP going to go?

Yes it is useless on most but not all builds.

I'm not sure you'll be able to establish a grip in the first place with tech that low.

Pretty sure you need to "barely" fail a tackle to get a grip drag. Maybe not though. Either way, an all grip, no tech build will get dropped by elusive running broken tackles pretty easily I'd think.
