Either that or chemistry gain per game should be multiplied by like 5.

I just don't like punishing players because their team quit. If their original team folds and they find a new team in the offseason, they should be on an even playing field.

This. With a shorter career and career boosting the current system makes no sense.

Logzilla/Madison in 2 1/2 days will be one hell of a game... not very confident in that matchup with the chem diff right now
I haven't been this nervous facing a passing team since DA a month and half ago, and haven't lost to a pass heavy team since DA on Feb 12th (S9)
Through 3 games, our QBs are 1&2 in HoF, and WRs are 1&2

Career boosts are expensive, and it's pretty sad to spend money on a career boost only to watch your player not play to his full potential for the majority of an entire season. Then if you are lucky and your team doesn't fold, you get to play at 100 otherwise it's rinse and repeat the next season.

Or at very least a big boost. Its not like the team wouldn't have had training camp to build up the team chemistry. Pretty sure the put the chem system in to prevent teams from dropping and adding players for match up reasons. Offseason signing should carry any penalty.
/agreed

nevermind, I'm going to have enough to worry about playing pass-heavy Vet #1 (but actually #3)

The change is only really needed in Vet IMO as any player could be in their last season and what is the harm in having them start at 100 chem in the offseason for vet only?

thats a good idea... once they reach vet, once signed offseason... auto at 100% chem... that would be huge for us that stay in vet that have to deal with chem issues every season

It should not be limited to just vet, that punishes the newer user who hasn't gotten friendly enough with people for recruiting before the team was made. If the newer user carries the team forward they'll have to add more and more people each tier.
When FSM was in rookie a fair amount of the team was filled with non-boosters who just wanted S* points. So there was immediately a sizeable roster hole. Not to mention the inevitable inactives joining the team because you can't be picky about filling the roster. You aren't getting the primo users who have been around for years.
Any change to chem has to affect every tier.

Eh, Sugar Honey was the 4th best rated passer in Veteran last season. I don't think you can claim the second best passing offense with any validity when both Yukiko and Cleveland were more efficient and ranked higher in the HOF. Second most total yardage? Sure. But total yardage is a stat that's influenced by how quickly/often the defense can put the ball back in the hands of the offense.
Other than that, I agree with everyone suffering through chemistry plight. It's ridiculous that chemistry has gone another season unadressed, and it remains the most outstandingly dreadful game design mechanic in GLB2.

I'm beginning to think most of you make roster changes just so you have an excuse for half the season if you lose a game.
