Yep - I got cheesed by the QB run. I blew it by not planning for it, but haven't planned for it EVER. Didn't have time to redo my offense, so good for them, they knew it would work, so they ran it every long down situation.

I actually don't care much about loosing to cheesy plays, in the long run it doesn't hold up.


What I DO get agitated at is being ranked 6 in the ladder, which again points to the absurdity of the current ladder.

Must have Nostradomus on ICK. How could they know you'd run ZEB so much against 3WR sets?

Oh ya - because the last 28 games in a row vs 3WR sets - you've run ZEB 804 times (97%) and Middle Overload the other 25 times (3%).


What is cheesier? Spamming QB run when someone runs ZEB? Or running ZEB 97% of the time? (were your other two losses from QB rollouts against your Zeb?

ZEB is still relevant beyond rookie?

Every day I continue to wonder...why the fuck do we pay to make kickers? I may as well just go burn a 20 dollar bill.

Sort of? FSM only used it a bit, and only in certain situations. Buy my season long numbers for ZEB are:

83 times - 32.5% Completions - 28.9% Hurries - 18.1% Sacks

So pretty good for when I run it, but I don't run it often.

Pair of upsets in Alexander rookie league. Though BEEF over ISNHS isn't really as much an upset considering their ladder status. But Whales over Mannheim is one though.

Well, it'd help if you had better kickers, plural. KO specialist would mean your Vet's SP can all go to field goal stuff. I mean, your Veteran kickers stats aren't much better than my Rookie kicker:

Vet kicker - 8/9 from 20-29 (88.9%) 8/13 from 30-39 (61.5%) 8/20 from 40-49 (40%)
Rookie kicker - 10/17 from 20-29 (58.8%) 20/26 from 30-39 (76.9%) 2/6 from 40-49 (33.3%)

Actually it doesn't help. My kicker hasn't statistically got any better since dropping the KO specialist and reverting some skill points to make use of KO Power.

But beyond that logical thought, people are still paying for kickers that are shit by any standard every season.

Though great point on how ridiculous kickers are that I have much higher skills in all my kicking abilities than your rookie kicker yet have comparable stats.
