Definitely was not as good of a value as Malcom Brown would have been but I believe that it was the right pick and trade scenario. Manny Ramirez is a versatile backup now as he can play either G position or C while this rookie can take a starting G position, Warford (hopefully healthy again) locks down the other G position, Swanson assumes control over C, Reiff remains at LT (not sure why everybody wants to continue discussing moving him inside year after year as he has been a good LT), and Waddle (if healthy) can return to RT or at least compete for it. It will allow them to focus rounds 2 and 3 on CB/DT ideally.

Certainly was missing the drama of past drafts, but I dont think there were many wtf moments either. It was all business, but everyone got something of value for their team.

Now that my team has to rely on an ASU player I can maybe stop calling you Arizona.

GB took OLB Carl Bradford in the 4th round last year, from ASU.

I'd still call 'em Arizona...lol

Amari was my first choice, but I am happy with Fowler, Jags had the best possible scenario with 2 QBs going 1 and 2 we got to pick as if we were the #1 pick (not needing a QB ourselves)So Fowler must have got a higher grade and was certainly a position of more need with so many young WRs already in Jax. Today I would love to see us take Landon Collins in the second round and TJ Yeldon or one of the other top RBs in the 3rd, although with all signs showing the kid isnt the killer, taking a flyer on La'el Collins and picking up a 1st round talent in the 3rd 4th round would be a worthy use of a pick, after all the odds on him winding up in prison and the pick being a waste is probably less then the odds of a 3rd or 4th round pick not contributing anyhow.

Which Collins? There are 3. Jalen, Landon, or La'el?

La'el's legal issues might make him go undrafted.
Jalen is very inexperienced but talented. So not an immediate contributor.
Landon in the right scheme, with the right personnel around him, could be very good. But there are so few teams in the NFL that fit that. I see him sliding to the end of the 2nd.

Giants never fail to surprise me. Still love our pick. Hope Landon falls to us in the second round. He's raw, but with his physicalness and his ability to play both safety positions, dude will be awesome in a few years. Not forgetting his speed from the time he played HB.
