Some reverse psychology there but as it stands right now any reverse scouting to 'give' the best plays against a particular team is NGTH at this moment in time. Mind you I was smart when I coded it, would take 0 effort as I just toggle something in code and its instantly available, just don't feel its in the best interest in all parties to turn it on.

Stobie not trying to argue with you, but it seems to me your hesitant to allow us this feature as it might upset the balance of the game for non-scout tool users? I say that's what we subscribers are paying for.....and edge. My impression of the scouting section of the scouting tool, was that it was 50% of what it should be.

An active decent head coach or coordinator should have an idea from watching games what plays are working or not for the team he coaches. But the term "scouting" to me means the "other" team. Having a list of whats working and not working vs and opponent is the real value in this tool IMO. Something that's not being offered right now.

Like I said Stobie I love the player builder as I am an agent/player builder. But my hopes of jumping into the coaching game using this tool didn't materialize due to the fact that even using this tool the time investment was too much for game planning an opponent.

I hope this doesn't come across as a complaint as its not meant to be, just giving you feedback from a subscriber. You are very noble for keeping the game level for non-subscribers, but I think your customers want more.

By all means, I expect feedback and even criticism. Nothing is perfect and everyone has opinions, and are entitled to them. It is not that I intend to keep it balanced to the normal non subscribers, its that I fear you will start seeing people just running the same plays over and over rather than trying things out. It actually hurts my subscription numbers by not implementing this option as more would probably would sub if I offered this option. I guess I am curious in hearing everyone's opinion on it, maybe I really am in the minority on this idea? I would argue part of the cost is to save time game planning, as the majority of the feedback I get is that I save them so much time in scouting. Before I give any more opinion to the debate I would like to hear what everyone really feels about the ability to see what works best against an opponent.

as soon as the scout tool replaces the requirement for human thought (ie: run X Y and Z) I think the game suffers greatly.

Have to keep a human element in it -- which means keeping it so that a human must decipher the data

At this point I think the numbers aspect behind % and plays are about as far as I would like to see it. If you can't garner enough advantage through those numbers at this point in time you are reading them wrong. Though I guess I would also argue that too many people use the numbers as a total crutch and that is their huge downfall. They aren't actually watching the interaction of games and just making base assumptions and their plans show it.

Agree with the above. There is a line where this tool could actually break the game and turn it purely into a "Pay Stobie to win" model. Right now I love that you actually need to interpret the results of the scouts yourself, and as of now, this tool is amazing at making it POSSIBLE to scout for those of us who are busy. (Heck, we're all busy.)

I'd like to see the ability to type in numbers in the player builder- instead of just clicking the arrows to make things go up. Maybe even a slider or something. Basically, just a way to make that process quicker. Otherwise I'm pretty happy with everything. Thanks for the great tool.

Totally agree! Dont make this Game more stupid plus

besides, "next opponent" should be a no brainer man...why so we even have affiliated teams without this option?

Still, what was the initial purpose of this section then? Data about teams that use it?

If you set an affiliated team it will tell you how many people and how many times some one has scouted that team, besides yourself. It doesn't show your self scouts. Gives an idea if your team is being scouted or not.

For scouting passing offenses it would be cool to see collective target breakdowns on whatever situations. Scout a whole game and see what positions are targeted and how often. Want to just look at 3rd down target reception breakdown? No problem.

This one would be helpful in my opinion (especially at rookie).

Either assign teams a rating of some kind:

100P = 100% pass
100R = 100% run
90P = 90% run
50P = 50% run / 50% pass

Have this rating show up in the team schedule area. So it might say:

{league icon} Ashland Dockers (90P) 17-17

So - I'm scouting PORN. Legacy is not a 100% run team....so scouting the 100% run team games vs PORN is kind of useless for defensive purposes. Would be nice if at a glance I could make sure I don't include games against all run teams, etc.

Would also be fun to see at a glance what teams are doing (even though the data is thin).

That would be handy and a time saver. Wouldn't have to click so many box scores to check if they're irrelevant to my team.

I didn't word it right. It would still be on the Scout site, and wouldn't be a duplication of the GLB box score. It would just have little boxes showing some WR/TE vs CB/LB/FS/SS data. Without poring through each play. It's hard to tell which player gave up which reception.

So something like Corner X in the CB3 slot was targeted 10 times and here's how WR Y and Z did against him when they were in the WR3 slot, with a box showing KL, UTS, PD, Catch Rate%, etc

This was something I was thinking about when I played Logzilla. His offense revolves around his amazeballs WR3, if I could figure out who matched up better against his WR3, I'd change the depth chart whenever I played Logzilla.

I like that a lot too.
