The sim choosing not to go for the 2pt conversion in the 3rd and 4th quarter was heart breaking. Really wanted to see this end up in OT.

Ended up being a very good game, I was more disappointed in that last Knocked loose pass on 3rd down. That was huge.

Great game. These same tier top team matchups don't happen enough.

Unfortunately the truth. Kind of sucks how much forum activity this season's seasoned teams had in rookie and sophomore seasons. But once seasoned tier rolled around it just died because all rivalries pretty much went out the window.

Frankly, had you lost to us, which you almost did, it'd have been embarrassing. Any self respecting all-rushing offense should be able to beat us.

Seasoned and journeyman really are the graveyard tiers these days. At least in pro you start getting good enough to embarrass some veteran teams.

Rookie, sophomore and vet are a ton of fun. Seasoned to pro is just a grind to get to vet. The majority of ladder matches are uninteresting and any kind of same tier matches and rivalries go out the window. Apparently some people think this is good for the game though.

Probably worth having seasoned locked to tier like sophomore. Maybe journeyman too.

All I want is some type of preference on same tier matches when deciding ladder matches. I'm okay venturing outside the tier, but when the top 5-10 teams in the same tier don't play each other at all, it's a bit extreme.

I don't disagree with that. Didn't it used to work that way? Seems like I recall that it did.

It did, but people complained about facing the same team 5-7 times in a season, so they went in the extreme opposite direction.

I agree with this for the most part. I do prefer to play my own tier if they are within 20 ranks over other teams. Outside of 20 ranks, there's a reason why they are that far off.

With an accelerated ladder ELO I believe both ideas can work though. In general, this season has been boring due to playing 80% of ladder matches against none-competitive teams. Corndog/Bort, please improve the Ladder system.
