Totally rework skills to eliminate contentious skills such as run vs pass, catching grip vs rushing grip, elusive routes or carrying elusiveness. I like how the tackling, physical and mental skills are done for the most part. Rushing, receiving, blocking, and defense skills are badly done IMO.

Tournaments with FP betting on teams is probably the single biggest revenue machine GLB just didn't have the foresight to implement (even though I spammed about it multiple seasons in a row)

Look at the success of csgolounge and what it did for the Counterstrike community. They went from < 1000 people watching their professional streams to 20,000+ with the introduction of betting. When csgolounge was young and not all games were bettable, you could see a clear as day difference in viewers and attention between games with something on the line for the spectators and just your average game.

I played GLB2 since season 1 and I never spent a penny because of grandfathered FP. I can assume a lot of other casual and/or midlevel players that made the full swap to GLB2 were the same.

It's sad too because GLB2 could definitely have used a lot more development attention over time that it's clear they just can't afford, no offense to CDog. Maybe with people buying and losing FP at a faster rate, they might have had the money to add more plays and fix some of the other issues people have had for seasons now.

Anything gambling w/ money or currency equivalent (in your case flex, even if it's not liquid) was consistently shut down due to legal implications.

GLB1 did it... flex bank tournaments. You can't say it hasn't been done.

Unfortunately this is probably the case. I'm sure GLB could skate around the law though because the only federal laws prohibiting anything about online gambling are to prevent Banks from dealing with the online poker sites. here are about 5 states that do prohibit online gambling in some forms outright and or are very hard to do legally. (New York for example.) I don't see how GLB would be any different than sites like Fanduel or Draftkings.

FP is not a real currency and you can't exchange it back to real currency after you purchase it (this is the most important part), so no - it is not illegal

this is the same way Csgolounge operates (and it much more shady there since you can be talking about knives worth thousands of dollars IRL that do get sold back to real money via other means, but everybody just pretends that doesnt happen)

The most important thing would be where the server host was located and their local gambling laws, but really this is only an issue in a minority of states because online videogame betting is such a new avenue and there is no real precedent for laws regarding betting with "virtual currency" (again, the key being it never goes back to a real currency via the site itself).

Fanduel and Draftkings are totally different because you are putting USD in and getting USD back.

If it was "shut down" by the admins, then that's just the admins being lazy in doing the research regarding their own product - which is their loss (and ultimately our loss as I sit with 900 FP right now and nothing I want to do with it)

Make zone more viable against the pass. Hell, make anything on defense more effective against the pass.

This would be amazing. It would be great to have records like most passing yards in a season, rushing yards in a season, etc.
I think my WR Sedita is on pace for like 8,300 yards and I'd like to see where that would stack up.

Kind of goes back to what people have been suggesting as far as having readily available all time stats. Would love to see all time pancake/revcake leaders by tier, Broken tackles, etc.

-Make power builds on defense viable. As it is right now, either you build to get around blockers, or you end up just playing pattycake with them, which in GLB2 is a win for the offense. It should be possible to use your power to win a blocking interaction and make a play rather than relying exclusively on a combination of technique, mobility and Shed Blocks/Spin Cycle SAs.

-More defensive formations. I want a 2-4-5 nickel, a 1-5-5 prowl, a 2-3-6 dime, a 4-3 Under and a Big Nickel with 3 safeties instead of 3 CBs. The 2-4-5 nickel and 2-3-6 dime would have DEs lined up where typical 3-4 DEs line up, maybe slightly further inside (3 technique, lined up in the gap between the guard and tackle) and OLBs lined up outside the shoulder of the TE (7 tech) as pass rushers. 1-5-5 prowl just a NT, 5 LBers and 5 DBs. 4-3 Under has a DE lined man up across from the strong (TE side) tackle, a NT lined up over the C, a 3-tech lined up between the weak G and T, a wide 9 DE lined up on the weakside, and then your Sam LB (strong side) lined up on the outside shoulder of the TE. MLB and WLB basically play the same roles as 3-4 ILBs.

-8 IN THE GODDAMN MOTHERFUCKING BOX. I shouldn't have to call an all-out blitz if I want 8 guys in the box. I want a 3-4 defense with a SS acting as a 5th LBer. I want a 4-4 defense where a SS is on the field instead of a fourth LBer. I want a dime package that still has the numbers advantage at the LoS.

-Coverage assignments. Let me choose who covers who. All about matchups.
