He obviously needs more passes to his TE lol

Yeah that damn TE! He got robbed in that last game. 1300 yards to spread around and he only had 70.

The one edge Cleveland has is in TD's, which I blame on my punt returner. He now has 7 punt return TD's.

The bigger edge is that clevelands stats are valued higher cuz #1 team.

This might be a big year for Cleveland. 4 CPU games in league play iirc.

Does it really matter what your team's ranking is? I always thought it was based on strength of opponent. As the #1 team, you will naturally draw better ladder opponents(for now). You got a ton of credit for your stats against New Jersey because of their ladder ranking at the time even though they are CPU.

Does that get dramatically lower impact as New Jersey slides down the ladder as the season progresses? Seems like it should.

His ranking doesn't matter and if it is factored in it would hurt him not help. If you assume the #1 team is always favored then he would always be playing above his competition. I agree with you, the only advantage he would have is he will consistently draw a higher ranked ladder opponent.

Yeah, sorry, that's what I meant. Our advantage is the opposition we face is generally ranked higher. And yes, the value we got from the NJ blowout was locked in as a top 10 domination I think. I'm pretty sure the value of those stats don't fall with their future slide down the rankings.

We easily got the most fortunate first ladder game possible. Pile up stats, grow some chemistry... couldn't have scripted our first 3 games better for easing into a season with some roster turnover.

AA, Run GLB, and the Virgins are starting to creep up into the top 25, we should get to see quite a few different match-ups in the next few weeks.

I think it's going to be a fun ladder season for sure.

Can't lie hoping for a New Jersey draw myself in the next ladder to sooth our chem pickup.

btw, Akeem "The Dream Jordan" and Cleveland Brown are tied for number of times finishing at #1 in HoF (three each, Cleveland on offense, Akeem on defense)

Cleveland would break that tie if he gets his 4th this season.
