I could always respec and pump pass aware and pass consistency to the max, but I think it is always best to wait when major changes like this occur

IF you gave up that many sacks vs Stark then you need to change something. Maybe chem does effect scrims, that could be the reason.

Chem most definitely effects scrims.

doesn't seem that way to me at all. Just scrimmed alaska - blitzed every down.

his qb went:
45/75 for 60% completion
on 27 hurries and 5 sacks
683 yards
6 tds
1 pick

it didn't look any different - and nothing about that scrim would indicate to me there is still any reason to blitz a passer

just reporting what I observe (my opinion)

I already blitz a ton. Just gonna pump it more now!

This has been very interesting this offseason. I didn't watch the scrim but my Vet S* QB, who was sacked less than 10 times last season, ended up being sacked 17 times in one scrimmage game. Not sure if bhall is a terrible OC or if my QB is turrible now

Couple of different things working against us in that scrimmage but I am not too worried.

Yeah I didn't actually watch it so for all I know you could have just ran streaks all game. I just thought it was interesting when I looked on the game log and saw Sugar was sacked 17 times.

It wasn't against Stark boon...it was against some Irish team before the season rollover

Vs stark they gave up 19 hurries and 8 sacks which is about right for the type of play calling they did though its accurate since my blitz % is anywhere from 30 to 60% depending on what wr sets we see.

Ya i'm not set up for any specific play set. Have had a lot of radical differences in results from our scrimmages over the last 2 days from the same set of play calling. A lot of the hurries/sacks has to do with the chem right now which also leads to more incompletions which leads to longer 3rd down's and thus sacks. I am not too worried about it for us though. Might have a couple undesirable results early on but things will come together quick enough.

The addition of 5-2 depth chart is really going to up the amount of hurries/sacks people are able to acquire especially on 3rd down too.

Someone needs to build a 5 man superstar d-line for kicks
