It helps to start with 1 agent to create as much players as possible to start, then you can grab upgrades along the way as you see fit. There's nerfs and patches, and I even cut active players from MMA and recruited guys just because we landed in Monroe in division with Minnesota Stunners. I already have a free safety lined up which I'm pulling away from another player team next season, just because he will be better suited to defend the run vs Minnesota. Assuming we don't shuffle out of Monroe.
I would say having 1 agent make most of the players doesn't really matter, but having 1 agent coach and manage the whole team is the biggest disadvantage over a small network of core guys. TxSteve's team is a good example of a successful team with 1 agent (mainly) but has the support of multiple coaches.
