If you're a passing team and you get sacked 15 times a game, that's just shitty OL builds.

I'm well aware of what you ran but I screwed up my playbook trying to account for idiotic QB running game and ultimately failed on both ends.

If you wanna know how to completely shut down an outside running game without being too vulnerable on the inside, watch our defense in our ladder game against Dogecoin.

And it would figure you'll be the 4th straight league game using a running QB....ridiculous...

We're in it for the long haul, mate. This isn't just some short term "let's win in rookie" gimmick for us.

No I just counted up the games. 9 games this year I'll face a game where atm their top threat is listed as their running QB. Your game 4 in a row then Supersonics which don't just have a running QB but 2 s*HB, lol fun.

Most the teams in this league that pass are 500 or worse. I understand I'm failing on tactics and possibly builds to handle this in rookie ball but it is absurd looking through the experienced rookie leagues and seeing how many teams crutch on the QB run

That's an inherent flaw with how rookies in GLB2 are able to function. Why struggle to score 7-10 points a game in rookie ball if you have a much better chance to get big gains on QB rollouts? 1 to 2 seasons from now most of those teams will either have new QB's to have a more balanced offense or will fall by the side once defensive builds and tactics start to limit the ability of QB runs. If you're not preparing to win then you're planning to fail.

passing has pretty much always sucked in early rookie season. It will get better though.

Yeah passing is rough in rookie. We don't spam QB runs, but we include them. We are trying to win every game that we can from rookie ball and beyond. We will add the passing game next season. Viper is mad about losing to a QB run team, but if he would have just had a different play against the 3WR formation he would have shut them down.

everybody complaining about not being able to pass in rookie, you're doing it wrong.

Compton's 1st game: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/38637
4th game: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/42033
6th game: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/game/43092

passing can be OP as fuck in rookie if you do it right.

of course it CAN work. but i can pretty much guarantee it wouldnt against any team that I DC for and have some control over the defensive builds.

You mean if the defense does it wrong. They ran a zone D.

Rob I know the supersonic aren't only QB runs. I'm one of the s*HB though I think I got robbed of some touchdowns.

And mrm passing can suck but it's can be done as well. Logzilla did it last year for example. I'm doing it with my own team, though we just got killed by a QB running because they decided to not use it till our game and we weren't prepared haha.

I'm redoing everything because I'm trying to learn but this is a flaw in rookie ball if rookie owners aren't prepared. Just kinda sucks and is discouraging...

What zeb ? I know my team we talk about being vulnerable to blitz and sacks. Its a weakness we know about and work towards defeating.

logzillas passing didnt really start to click until 10-15 games or so into the season. I am just talking about the first 25-30% of the season. YOu can plan everything correctly but until your receivers get some hands its just hard to sustain drives. Running works decently right from the get go.

If anything I am saying it in a way to encourage teams that are passing, just trying to say theres not much you can do at the very start against well prepared teams.
