hard to be a successful rushing QB in veteran, trust me... my two guys are hit and miss this year.

You just really need to know how to mix in other plays to counter the defenses people run purposely against the QB.

Anybody else ever try two S* rQBs in veteran? One power rQB and one elusive? Pair that with a S* bTE and I think the Warriors have a bright future in the upper tiers.

not that I'm aware of... most people retire their rQBs before Vet, once they start to see them get knocked around in seasoned/pro... I have two of maybe 3 or 4 total rQBs in Vet that are actually effective.

It's a cool idea. I love my rush QBs, so I'd like to see that. If you need help at OC or something, let me know deevee

Boogie mens rushing QBs have had declining YPC just about every season, while the HBs have had increasing YPC. We don't have a S* rQB though.

edit: i guess thats not entirely true, just have had a big dropoff this season for the QBs. Still a small sample size though only 6 games into the season so who knows.

I am a big fan of Superman Landers! Having him paired with CME is what got me thinking of having two S* rQBs. Still, I dont think either of them will ever win MvP together.

I'll keep the offer in mind. We might need some advice later in the season. Thanks man.

but you would only have to roll with only a few WRs if they were built correctly. I could see it working.

Makes me tempted to retire my Ambrosio, my S* pocket QB and start over with a S* rQB "Super" Superman Landers... bahaha

Dual threat S*QB finally running in Journeymen - http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/75545

Not sure how effectively he'll be once he hits Veteran (he's caps aren't good enough to run), but it's fun to use the whole playbook.

unfortunately the way QBs are built with SP, I don't see any way a dual-threat QB can be really effective end-game, but I'd love to be proven wrong... would probably have to be surrounded by a pretty amazing supporting cast.

Him being a superstar helps, but yea I would agree. He's still fun to watch for now

Really? The only reason I think one would be less effective is that scrambling outside the pocket would lead to a lot of hurries/sacks. Otherwise I think it would be extremely easy to build as a superstar. Despite going off track on my break sack build I think he will end up an ok passer anyways and he isn't a superstar. That build could be a roethlisberger if done right.

Come ON! As if they needed any MORE help with that outfit...lol

TDiddy, if you really want to find out how to get it to work best at the highest level you first have to learn how to shut it down... so yeah

there's just too many categories to hit with SP to be a dangerous runner AND passer...

Could he be a good scrambler? sure, but be able to be effective doing designated QB running plays in Vet? no. They are hard enough even with a pure running build

Just throwing this out there because curious and I dont have anyone past Sophomore level...

Would being able to pass and run even if 75% of being pure either be a nightmare for a DC? Sure you your better skill points as a pure but being able to do both from the same formations means they couldn't design to handle one or the other and you play Russian Roulette in play calling because did they call the run defense when your ai called QB run or did they call run and your QB just hit the TE over the vacant blitzing LB spot?
