I didn't really consider you a 2 dimensional team. 60 runs a game vs. 20 passes, most of those on third and long and catch up time. But what surprised me was how well you passed when you chose to pass. Kudos on a strong finish to the season. I was a-feared of that game.

True, balanced probably isn't exactly the right word. I do like to lean on the run for sure. Maybe methodical is more what I was getting at. Our 1st and 3rd drives of the game were 14-play and 16-play drives, which is exactly what we needed to do. Keep that bulldozer of an offense of yours on the sidelines.

But thanks though. Looking forward to next season to continue building on our improvement.

Yep. I think it is also a mix of a weak pool overall outside the top 15-20. My goal was to stay competitive this season. We are not built to win early on, so actually I am happy to finish in the top 20. We did beat some teams recently in the top 30, knocked a couple lower since they were high 20s coming into the game. But zero wins against the real top teams.

I predict though by this time next season we will be solidly in the top 10 and creeping up if not in the top 5.

Yeah 12 may be a bit generous... however I've been slowly working on my formula to make it more accurate. The new rankings has them in the 17 range. I have to look at nearly every game on every team on my list though, and it's taking a while. Looking at where they rank on most things, I'd say 17 is about right though.

With a ridiculous sum of 9 superstars, especially with most of those on offense, it does seem like anything is possible.

Aeir, are you sticking with ranking this Tier of teams as they move up to Sophomore?

Yeah, I'll be moving up to sophomore next season.

One does not simply stop Ground Assualt

I am a little envious of Ground Assaults identity. Must make their game plans and scouting far less time consuming.

Its gotta come to a point where they just have a few different pre-made defensive tactics and playbooks they rotate between based on who they're playing. Unless they want to double check for a big game, each defensive game plan has to take like 5-10 minutes.
