if you have a decent enough basic plan it's pretty much RNG I think - or you can scout and really try to mold a game plan to address specifics

consider the case of the game andes had with the minnesota stunners - a journeyman team - that was probably just a base defense that got run all over, I doubt USC trojans (great game vs. BC by the way) devised a specific run defense for that game to limit the stunners to 50 someodd points

I wonder how long till it sinks in that you needed to lose to us and have us beat glasgow to avoid pulling glasgow in the first round of the playoffs. This win pretty much assured your guy's first round exit.

could be worse, I mean you could have 0 wins in ladder games and no hope to reach the championship game.
