Realistically, we'd have to win out and have things happen out of our control to make playoffs, yet as long as there's a chance...

Too bad there was that stretch of games where I was forcing the spam of counters (trying to keep up with the Jones instead of playing to OUR strengths) and we dug ourselves a hole.

Yeah, sadly Alpine went and lost, and I think Helmand is in control of the wild card now. The current division leaders are likely to hold on (but no one has clinched I don't think) and the WC spot is very crowded. Divisional play is going to whittle down the WC challengers, and things get wacky in the division matchups so it's hard to predict how things will fall.

I honestly started writing then and started getting into the if and buts and etc... and said screw it because I didn't even get into Beta. Damn Osprey and your crazy playoffs scenarios, every year same thing!

We didn't really gain much clarity, although Tampa is officially the Alpha division winner.

Only thing that MoD has going for it right now is that we are #2 in the league in defense.

MoD - #2 - 267 (8-4)
Alpine - #4 - 292 (7-5)
Detroit - #6 - 312 (6-6)
Reapers - #8 - 343 (6-6)

MoD has Detroit then Reapers
Alpine has Reapers then Detroit
Detroit has MoD then Alpine
Reapers has Alpine then MoD

If MoD wins against Detroit essentially they are in the playoffs as they would already have the +1 on Alpine and a 25 point advantage on them.
All others are going to have to win out to either steal the division or get wildcard for many various reasons.

If MoD loses it becomes a hell of a race, but if they win, it essentially still is a hell of a race but for wildcard.

Wildest season yet.

i think the one thing going against mod is there recent track record against detroit, even earlier this season when detroit was shitting the bed they got there first league win over mod pretty handidly

If MoD beats the Reapers, they're in - regardless of what happens with Detroit or any of the wild card teams. They might not win the division, but they will make the playoffs.

without a doubt i think its safe to say mod is in the playoffs, its just going to be a battle for the wild card. i have to say that i love how every season has played out in osprey and with 2 games left to go it this could be the craziest finish yet.

I think honestly is why Osprey has stayed together for so long with minimal turnover. As far as I know we don't plan on losing any teams. Can't speak to DeepRoute or Ninjas but as far as I know all other teams are staying.

Osprey is going to turn into its own world like CPL was in GLB1 where we all don't care what happens outside of league play.
