If I were looking to see what the top 3 things were that probably should be addressed next on the "to fix list", I'd go with:

1. continued refinement of end of half tactics
2. KL/Fumble bug
3. Ball Carrier behavior along sideline

You're doing a good job Corndog. The sim is better every season generally.

The counter plays are going to have to be nerfed, fwiw. I can go further into detail on it via PM, as it's specific plays.

I would just post it here, so at least everone can take advantage of it

Well judging by the hundreds of unread PMs, I'm guessing my inbox is open.

Honestly my only gripes right now is that rattled is happening vs 3 and 4 rushers which shouldn't happen as it's just too much coverage to deal with. The second gripe is that coverage is incredibly frustrating. One game you cover the WRs and they get shut down, the next you cover guys perfectly and WRs make the catch anyway. There has to be a healthier way to balance coverage because there are a lot of times where the cb is at the mercy of the wr and it's just incredibly frustrating as a DC to watch what looks like perfect coverage get torched.

Personally, I would like for screen passes to actually fulfill their purpose. These are private scrims, but I'm assuming Corndog can see them anyway...?

There seem to be quite a few things wrong with these plays - Jeffrey Krang holds onto the ball far too long and gets sacked, many times even though his target is standing still, waiting for the pass. The Beavers (man) defense also seems to read screens supernaturally well, and rush the intended target, leaving the Doges with pretty much no chance. The Doges (zone) defense, however, has a lot of trouble reading screen plays, but generally the plays don't work out that well anyway - many times because the pass is dropped, even though it should really be a gimme for an decent QB and receiver.

Edit: I also agree with trojans. Pass coverage is a little odd right now.

The problem with screens is they normally are countered by coverage but in glb 2 a successful screen torches a coverage defenses so making it a free pitch and catch like it is in real life would destroy the game at this time.

Trojans, that sounds like a problem with coverage, not with screens. Making an entire set of plays useless also doesn't seem like the best option, especially with blitzing being 99% effective is early seasons.

These are the main things i've noticed people griping about

That's exactly my point actually, coverage in its current form needs some tweaking, especially zone (though how to tweak zone I have no clue yet). Though I have a feeling the changes needed are a big task and will take some time coding wise.

Agree with all the sentiments here and I'll re-post a similar suggestion from another thread:

Make it tougher for offensive players to win contested rolls, WRs should do worse on the totally blanketed double covered diving plays, but in return it should be a lot easier to catch wide open short passes like flats routes and screens. Drop rates among top GLB teams is several times higher than it is for top NFL teams right now.

Similarly, awareness checks are either too difficult, or don't do enough when they succeed. Defenders run right past guys with the ball and blockers miss dudes right in front of them on every play, QBs have no freakin idea where to throw it. Guys fall down all the time in weird spots.

New agents will feel better about their players progress if it's easier to do the basic, uncontested rolls, it's just frustrating when your players constantly fail. Yes, player building is a skill and needs to matter, but it's more fun when it matters most for contested rolls at the highest level, not the most basic, uncontested rolls.

I've come across a teams that can't run counters for shit, hopefully if there are changes to counters it actually only impacts counters.

the thing with counters is they do exactly what they should, punish pure man defense you run a blitz and you probably blow it up if your defense has some decent run defense skills, personally I feel man base is too much of a cruch right now because its so safe. counters seem to actually force people to play something else

Would depend on the team you're playing, but blitzing doesn't work too well against teams that are good at running counters.
