I would. Not sure were the option is though.

Lol, I might just retire my player and restart. If I restart at every step of this process, I will become a pro in no time.

Lol yeah, Alright if you do I would suggest removing quick reflects skill and instead elusive running or slippery something called that. And lower stamina and confidence to 5 and add the extra attributes to speed and agility.

Oh for traits (thats what it is called) for a fast/elusive running back. Slippery, rusher and the other one you had tactician is what i would do.

ok so I retired my HB now before I remake i see you said RB and QB are the hardest to find a long term home how about on the defensive side of the ball are there more options for say a S or a LB or maybe a TE on offense?

The game says they are all in high demand but it also says qb's are in average demand which it's more like very, very low demand. There aern't many safety's but I've never built a safety so I can only help a bit. TE most people only want a pass receiver. But any Defensive position is fine. LB is a bit tougher to find a spot.

The reason why QB's are average demand is because most people are running with 1 QB and you can have 2 total. So it is a bit deceptive.

I just built my free WR. I should have read this post before I built him, but what is going to be important for a WR build?

Any thoughts on how I started my QB ? While I know the demand is very low, I would still like to try my luck there.

Nothing wrong with that necessarily. I might have lowered confidence and awareness by two points each and taken str and agility up by two points myself. You'll need to use a cap booster or two on conditioning to get it up into the mid 50's or so later in the career possibly.

I don't think you need heart/leadership caps that high. 50-60 is probably plenty for both. That's why I'd change the initial distribution. Also, on traits, I'm not a fan of precision passer. Dual Threat works out much better overall. That third SA as tactician is fine.

Such a build could cap out Pass Tech +1 cap booster, Pass Awareness, Pass Power, Pass Consistency, Pass Awareness, and Conditioning +1 cap booster. You'd have zero points for anything else really and 1 unused cap booster, unless you shaved down one of the previously mentioned skills.

I like the idea, I think I'll toy around with your suggestions and see how things goes, I was kind of doubtfull about Dual threat since it seemed weak, but it seems to be a general consensus that it's pretty good. thanks alot.

The thing about the lower caps, you'll struggle to reach them as is on most positions and builds with anything resembling a bit of decent rounding out of the build. It's the 8% cheaper costs that's really valuable. Tech and Accuracy aren't cheap skills, so 8% cost reduction ends up being a signficant number.

First, pick what kind of player you want to be - a burner deep threat, or more of a possession build. The traits you picked seem to say possession (quick feet is TERRIBLE if you are going for a burner), but the name implies burner.

If you're going for a burner, you obviously want sprinting and quickness, with a LOT of conditioning (50 at bare minimum, endgame, but more will make you faster), and throw into route elusiveness from time to time.

If you are going possession, Hands to 40 immediately. Nothing else matters before hands to 40, and you're going to want to continually come back to it throughout your career. Then work on Catch in Traffic and Route Tech, with some points thrown into Awareness and Consistency here and there. Some quickness, some speed (but not much, Snap Reaction can make up the difference to a degree), but with a possession build, the concern needs to be on every single catching skill possible, with Hands the top.
