GG Phuket, in the end your stellar passing attack was a bit too much for us. I'm impressed we managed to hold Gaius under 50% passing (for the first time this season I think) while testing my new defense. Love the great competition. I'm glad you're not in our league though, lol. Congrats on ascending to #1 with your victory.

GG Homies it was a tough game, you D certainly made it difficult and it could have gone either way early in the game, i am sure we will meet again!!

#1 Richmond Raiders v. #8 Boston Generals

I said: "so I'm going to say that the Generals should win this one" and "First to score will probably decide the game, so my prediction here is that you should watch this game."

What actually happened: Boston opened the scoring in the third quarter, but Richmond held on for the win.

#2 TTs Constellation Superstars v. #10 Casino Dogs

I said: "when Draco gets hot, the other team gets torched" and "Anything over a 45% completion % and this is TT's game to lose"

What actually happened: Completion % was 46.2% and Draco went 11/16 for a million yards. TT wins it in a blowout.

#3 Things You Dont Need Your Doctor To Confirm v. #13 Ember City Mastodons

I said: "DocCon will probably break Ember City, but I don't think we will see it in the first half."

What actually happened: Ember City remains unbroken, permitting only two DocCon FGs and winning by a single point.

#4 Phuket Nightwalkers v. #7 Straight Cash Homies

I said: "a morale spiral for either team is probably going to be the difference maker" and "Straight Cash has had the most trouble keeping their QB standing, so I'm going to say that this is going to be Phuket's game to lose"

What actually happened: Straight Cash allowed 13 Sacks after opening the scoring. Phuket only allowed 6. Morale spirals, Phuket wins.

#5 Battle Creek Mayhem v. #15 Wesley Chapel Warriors

I said: "Wesley is a one-trick pony rushing team" and "these spamming run teams are a blight on this game"

What actually happened: 61 rushing attempts, 11.5 YPC for Rage QB, and average YPC for the rest. Game = Blighted, no one wins.

#6 Long Island Knights v. #16 LogZilla Boys

I said: "Long Island has had the better defense so far this season, so I'd give it to them."

What actually happenend: LogZilla with the defense in this match. LogZilla wins 31-0.

#9 Houston Roughnecks v. #12 The Dam "Windy City" Pantherz

I said: " Roughnecks have shown better pedigree, so I'll give them the win, and I think it will be decided pretty early."

What actually happened: Roughnecks decided the game early, and then decided to go home for the other three quarters. Windy City Wins.

Stepping in for this one...rankings taken from team pages

#1 TT's Constellation of Superstars vs #12 Boston Generals

TT's got his superstar based passing offense, mostly of his own guys, going up against a solid looking multi agent team. Not counting game 1, when nobody had SPs, TT hasn't allowed more than one score in a game, and the offense has put up over 30 in four of their seven games. Both of Boston's losses come against solid competition, but I don't think they can pull out this one.

TT, 34-10

#2 Richmond Raiders vs #15 Murder City Devils
Devils got their asses handed to them by Boston in game 1, and had another loss to he current #30 team. They've got a talented roster (fun fact - Jamz signed one of TT's S*s, TT has one of Jamz'), but Richmond has only allowed 10 points all season and have really been steamrolling their competition.

Richmond, 17-3

#2 Phuket Nightwalkers vs #4 Whoville Whos
A fun sidestory of this season will be the battle for "best passing offense" between TT and Phuket - both air attacks are going to be damn hard for anyone to stop. This matchup, though, is our first rematch, and last time around, it wasn't pretty for Whoville, losing 7-30. That sounds about right

Phuket, 30-7

#4 Wesley Chapel Warriors vs #4 SER NFL Legends
Legends have a superstar filled defense, but those stars (2 CBs, 3 DTs that look to be pass rushers) are at positions that won't help them much against WCW's 99% rushing attack. I have to pick my own team, right?

WCW, 21-14

#7 Things You Don't Need Your Doctor to Confirm vs #11 Roman Empire
TYDNYDTC have a passing based attack and a long ass name. Their loss was a tight, one pointer to #12 Ember City, but it looks like they need to hone their offense a bit more - they haven't gone above 20 points since game one. The Romans, meanwhile, are on a 5 game winning streak after two bad losses early. Their defense seems like a strength since then, though, with three shut outs and one game where they only allowed a field goal. And one of those shut outs was over the team that TYDNYDTC's last league opponent, who kept it close.

Romans, 24-17

#7 Battle Creek Mayhem vs #18 Logzilla
Logzilla's looked damn good in their ladder games, but had a bad loss to #45 Rancho in their last league game. When they show up, they are a brutal team to play against...but they seem not to show up sometimes. Battle Creek, meanwhile, has a damn impressive record, with only one blemish, their 35-3 loss to WCW. I'm thinking a defenive struggle, but giving it to Logzilla, out to return to the top 10.

Logzilla, 10-7

#9 New York Customs vs #22 The Simpsons
Two agents from Springfield vs a superstar heavy team in this matchup. NY's only stumbles were a week one loss and a tie to a strong #30 Columbus Wardogs team (beat Murder City), and they're looking to toss the ball all over a defense that's been very solid all season (Battle Creek is the only team to get over 10 on them, and that was week 1). Another potential upset on defensive abilities.

Simpsons, 17-14

#10 Blitzkreig Panthers vs #14 Akron Dogs
Both these teams carry two QBs, one passing, one rushing. And both have found out the newest way to only have their rusher in on the plays where they want him. Only one can exploit their way to a win this time, and I'm going Hydra pride.

Panhers, 35-28

GG, your rush defense is stout. That was really what killed us in game one. You guys are very solid at all phases.

Awesome, 1 point off! And that's because it was an OT TD.

GG Legends!

GG Generals. A couple blow opportunities in the red zone. Could have really used that missed field goal from 32 yards out, but that's rookie ball for you!

You don't usually get to see my running game, but against that blitz sometimes you have to. Hope to get another try this season.

#4 WCW vs #4 SER NFL Legends
Prediction: WCW runs wild, 21-14
Actual: Holy shit did I get lucky, with three short missed field goals and a redzone fumble by SER, WCW wins 20-14 in OT in a game that easily could have been a 27-10 blowout the other way

Actual: NYC gets sacked 25 times, get spanked. Simpsons, 25-0

#10 Blitzkreing vs #14 Akron
Prediction: Panthers 35-14 in an exploit of QB depth charts fest
Actual: Panthers 9-0, using their running QB out of goal line and a solid defense

Potts' record: 4-4. I'm not good at predicting, am I?
