Depends. If the solo coach has a vision regarding builds for each position and how they fit together, yeah, that's going to paper over a lot of ills on the playbook and tactics side. But if the solo coach doesn't have a good vision, or doesn't know how to build dots, the mere fact that they're throwing all the flex into a losing effort isn't going to make a difference.

Obv there are just bad people out there that throw together a pure shit pile of a team, even if it is their whole shit pile haha

Bhall, paraboon, romo, adder, galithor, thunderoo, whoever runs hawaii's defense, and that USC_Trojans guy seems to run some solid defenses.
