that had much more to do with your offense than your defense. Got ZEB/MOed down, and ran too many sackbait plays IMHO.

One day he'll learn blitzing isn't the answer...such a coaching mis-match in that game.

shots fired!

para's been tough on Xav the last couple weeks

Though, tbf, salty's game plan was basically rush 6 every down.

Why is everyone taking Jampy's Bab00n joke?

Also, what would I be jealous of? Your entire group has proved time and time again that you just aren't as good as the very best at each tier.

You'll never see my come here and blame 34 points on the offense.

Not when I have a bunch of plays like this where our guy didn't even think to turn and look for the ball until after the completion:

yeah, he was completely facing away from the QB at the moment of the pass. That's a tough assignment in single coverage.

You know, you've shared the opinion that it's better to force the QB to throw earlier with pressure, but I've found that can bite you in the ass too. Sometimes is better to let the routes develop longer and give your coverage guys more of a chance to recover. Teams blitz us now, and it causes Cleveland to go to Fry about 8 yards downfield before he even makes a cut. There's very few FS's that have been able to do anything about that.

But when I know my guys can't cover, I don't really have much of a choice.

In addition to all those plays where the DB didn't even turn on a ball, I have bunches of replays I can post where the DB is standing right on top of the receiver, and it doesn't matter.

If I really had my way, I wouldn't be blitzing. I'd be playing something like a 4-3 Under Zone hybrid. One of my DE's would actually be a DE/OLB hybrid, 3 and sometimes 4 of my DB's would be in zone, with at least one man up on the best WR on the field but the zone guys still playing that WR as well as other zone coverages. It'd be really similar to what Seattle does up front, but more like 00's Tampa in the secondary.

Alas, I'm sure Corny would cry if he had to break down the algorithms necessary to code something like that.

Anyone remember this comment when folks were taking shots at us for the being the first team Atlantic surprised by throwing Cobb in at WR3?

I just thought this should be brought back up. Cobb's a dirty bastard at WR3, and now Boss likely agrees

If you watch the game, lot of man under, smother, etc. Coverage doesn't work.
