Those plays make me yell at the screen! He runs into and through every block and then when he gets open he steps out!

exactly it almost seems like your player will do better with no return awareness at all it's stupid, not to mention the slowdowns and the twirl around dance moves in one spot while they wait for someone to tackle them....absurd.

Thought I heard toughness also affects the likeliness of a ball carrier running out of bounds instead of taking on a tackler, maybe that has something to do with it too? Although 30 toughness isn't terrible...

Just a thought.

i am starting to believe this logic and have stopped pumping return awareness to see if that helps, but still it makes no sense to not pump return awareness on a return man lol.

I don't know, maybe because I like it the way it is. If your guy has too low quickness or footwork, he wont be able to move as fast as his stupid 80 awareness will allow. Thats probably his problem. Which is based in stupidity and not the game itself. Its good the way it is. And also, because when I make a valid suggestion on a special teams issue I got stupidity, so if its a special teams topic thats what should be the response apparently.

Whether its broken or not, I like it the way it is. Even if they possibly had to "fix" anything like some of you want then the returns would go through the roof like there was in GLB1 and the scores would start to be like 108-0 again and the game would become stupid and people would quit.

Also, the kicking game is still messed up, so maybe they should fix field goals, before allowing dumb return touchdowns which just adds even more to high scores and blowouts..while field goals are important in tight competitive games virtually every time.

if you are not satisfied with your kicker's performance, that is obviously a build problem.

elusive running on the other hand does need fixing on not only returners but also elusive backs and receivers.

I feel like return awareness does play a positive role in making a quicker decision. So I am not really complaining about that.

Elusive running is a problem, though. I believe that the main part of being elusive is being afraid of getting tackled, so it makes elusive players to step out of bounce to avoid tackles, whether it is possible that they can outrun defenders to break open or not. I mean, if a guy is fast, he should try to outrun others as a part of being elusive. In glb2, players with high elusive running ability just try to avoid tackles at all cost, and this should be changed.

It is also absurd how those elusive players try to run though a group of blocked defenders and get slowed down. While elusive players are frightened of unblocked defenders, I don't think they really care about blocking interactions in front of them. So they just see a lane where there is no unblocked defenders and if there happens to be a blocking interactions then bad luck, they get slowed down.

This is what I have seen from my S* returner specialist. What do you guys think?

Seriously...I have a top returner too...he is 3rd overall in rookie and he makes some dumb mistakes. Although he has returned 1 kickoff and 2 punts for a TD this season. He should have had a couple more but he ran out of bounds on one and the other, he started having a seizure, twitching back and forth uncontrollably, until a guy behind him caught him.
