Last season the owner was inactive the entire season. My gripe is they wont let teams be bought and FAs be signed. It's just bad business. Am I suppose to just check back in a couple months and hope to get on a team again?

Well I agree with you there, CPU teams with a bunch of human players should be able to be bought.

It's total BS that there are like 200 level 15 WRs in the marketplace with zero percent chance of finding teams. I could care less about 2 but 1 was sent to the pasture for this garbage. Is Bort and Co. Just completely oblivious to the state of this game? Something needs to be done with some urgency to keep at least some of these agents here.

bad players don't find teams. Besides Rookie/sophomore is when you REALLY market your player to the top teams because the respec is so impactful at that time, if a coach sees badly allocated SPs but likes teh caps, they can even take you on. I've done that with AGD2D and 42. You just have to put a semi decent player out there.

Not exactly sure what you're talking about, no one of importance is leaving/has left.

There are around 200 fucking WRs in the marketplace without teams is what I'm talking about. They tell us go try GLB2 you'll love it. We come here and play on flicking CPU teams because team ownership is not permitted. It's bad fucking business. It's like making a downpayment on something you will never be allowed to use. People want to buy teams, players desperately need teams but none of it is allowed. This game and company deserve to fail if admin can't even check the game's status, or maybe they just don't care about those who have invested time and money into this fucking garbage product. It's and easy fix bit they just don't give a damn about their investors or are that fucking lazy. This game was suppose to be marketed for new agents yet you all are telling me only experienced agents can play on human teams. This is a fucking joke. Get off the fucking couch Bort and save your company.

I'll grant you, there are enough free agents to fill 28 teams (Journeyman only). That's a rough number based on the number of free agents at each position and dividing it by the number of players (on average) I believe those positions are used on teams. In theory, Bort could add two more Journeyman leagues. There would still be 81 QBs without a human team...148 HBs...59 TEs...80 WRs...67 DTs...80 DEs...62 LBs...65 CBs...44 FSs...20 Ks...20 Ps...

Point being, you'd still have a FA problem. What's worse, I'd guess a good number of the free agents have sub-optimal builds and some are just plain bad. If you're just looking to field a team, that's fine. Most people, however, want to win. I don't think you could build many winning teams out of the current free agent crop.

We just ended an offseason cycle about a week ago. There was ample opportunity to build a new player during that time. Hell, I started a team and built 11 players myself. I didn't plan on building that many but did because I wanted to fill the roster. I would've loved to have some more agents involved and was willing to help anyone who asked.

My advice, play around this season. Maybe look around for rookie teams still looking for players (they exist) and build an experienced player for them. Look for someone wanting to take on a coordinator and learn to coordinate. Get involved with human teams so you can start to see what's working and what isn't.

Then, around midseason, get busy. If you plan to buy a team, start recruiting for builders. Showcase what you've done with the limited opportunity you've had and sell people on yourself in GLB2.

In short, stop complaining because of your lack of cares for the game and do something about it.

I care that is why I complain. If I could buy a level 15 team right now I could fill it with decent dots and be highly competitive by midseason(after I figure out this casual stuff). Instead my season is just going to be a complete waste along with many other agents. This isn't the way to "sell" the game to me.

I like how it's survival of the fittest. My level 15 QB is offering me a 270 flex refund, that is more than enough to pay for a new toon if he couldn't find work and it was obvious I needed to take another crack at building him. I think that is part of the fun. It's a competitive game and owners scramble to pick the leftovers off teams who reset.

I GM'd a journeyman team this season, and I cut players who had been with the team for 3 seasons, but because there was better upgrades in the off season, I let some players go in favor of upgrading my roster. Because if I didn't, my opponent would. The # of teams shrinking streamline the talent and competition gets very tough at higher levels. Of course, they have rewarded you if your player has been good enough to continually get re-signed by offering 3 extra season boosts. But by no means are even half the players created going to play all 8 possible seasons.

You also made the smart move of cutting your best WR. But it's okay, because your team is one of the worst in its tier and that WR ended up on a much better team. You also very clearly don't intend to have long-term success in this game since you're perfectly fine with burning bridges with some of the top agents in the game in order get what you view (incorrectly) is some short-term gain.

Trust me Mez. You NEVER burn your bridges with agents. NEVER.

I have plenty of experience with that, and i can tell you it will come back to haunt you 10 fold.

Lol, I dont even know who this guy is. He never has played 1 game on any team I've been associated with.

I think I sent out like 10 contract offers to WR's in off season and he was first to accept one. When I saw his build I cut him. He may have wasted 1 day in off season on my team at most.

20:35:50 Fast White WR has been cut. <- I actually accepted him, then cut him later day 1 of off seaason.

I'm not phased by people being upset they didn't make the team, because that's part of being a GM. I just can't believe this kid is contuining to hold a grudge over being cut from a journeyman team day 1 of the off season.

His guy has a 40% completion % from last season to this. It's not even the 50 hands, or the 25 grip, it's the 37 consistency too. My team's playstyle isn't going to utilize him the way he's best built for. I replaced the kid with Vic Tore whos caught 14 of 26 passes averaging 20 yards a catch, and Sean MacJohnson whos caught 10 of 21 avg 15 yards a catch. Budapest is 4-0. they were under .500 last season and 90th in ladder, and now they are 62nd. Can't we just part ways peacefully? This is just lol.
