Agreed, but I do think there is one time where megatron turns into the big gun in the first movie.

i grew up on voltron, i had the first episode on vhs and used to watch it all the time, i think it was like an hour and a half long and more of a movie. them escaping the prison planet, crashing onto the other planet, finding refuge in the castle and chasing the mouse that had the last key to the lions.
