I agree with bhall completely here, WL would be suck for this game. It partially killed GLB1 for me.

The way that leagues here get shuffled around when teams fold, and the best are slowly getting paired up, is basically making a dynamic world league scenario here as the teams get older and older. Look how many great teams are coming into the leagues that are seasoned and journeyman now. There is some top tier talent being put together, and making almost all leagues have the WL feel to them.

It will shake itself out. No to WL, yes to how it is because it already works itself out like that.

I think the problem here isn't a league structure one but a marketing problem, who does the game appeal to new owners and new players?

I hate to be that guy, but if one or two people own an entire team of players, and they are built correctly, they are almost impossible to beat. That seems to be the case in our league and there's really nothing that can be done to defeat them. I wish the game encouraged diversity in its teams agents somehow.

Saying there is nothing you can do is absolutely lol. There are always options.

We don't need a world league. That's why they created the ladder.

Assuming teams coming along get better and better, of course the need for a top tier league/leagues will be unnecessary.

but how do you guys think 4 vet generations at once will effect the ladder?
I have a feeling that even good teams will drop to negligible ladder ranks, seeing how right now everyone only cares about top 10 of seasoned, that kind of thinking will be LOL when teams dominating in league are like 50th in the ladder.

Not really. And that is good that good teams get dropped down the ladder. That is when we can stop talking about the top 10 and start talking about the top 25 teams or the top 50 teams in GLB2.

not happening. no one will ever do a thoughtful write up on the top 50,

not like I care.. but its just not happening.

Unless league condensing continues to be as awesome as it is now, something will need to be done in the future.

You underestimate my Tuesday night boredom.

But ya right now nobody does because there are only like 50 relevant teams per tier so it's just boring.

there's no advantage that can't be overcome

It's not like my team gets a bonus because I own all the players. Sounds like it's just a situation where there are teams with dots that aren't built "correctly". That team needs to replace those dots.
