doesnt that mean we will loose a team from the league as only 2 come up in total?

Sorry I missed this thread yesterday.
Yes. Relegation.
I presented the players I recruited with a very specific list of things:
1. New Contracts for Equipment Upgrades
2. No pressure to perform as we rebuild
3. A winless season and relegation.
If you go back and look at other games, you can watch my Kicker playing middle linebacker about 30 snaps per game. Where was the outrage then?
EDIT: I've also had WRs at DE. FB and TE at DT. K on KRS. SO you all didn't mind that I was tanking games until I got obvious about it. For the record, my team is not upset in the slightest. We discussed how best to lose the Aces game for a week now. Most of the players had no equipment on. Most of the players have been saving SP for several levels to be weaker for this game. You may read this like I singelhandedly tanked this game. My team helped. I am here for them, not to earn the other owners respect and admiration. If you all don't like it, please get fired up for all future games you play against the Vatican City Popes. We'll leave a light on for you.
In regards to my depth chart: When I went to bed the night before, I believe that us versus the Aces was pretty close on the scouting reports. I twisted my roster to ensure a loss. Their lineup continued to improve up to game time. If I had known the personnel they would wind up bringing against us, I wouldn't have screwed up my lineup so much. By the time I got the PM and had a chance to look at their final roster, I had about 15 minutes before the depth charts get locked prior to game time. I couldn't have fixed my DC by then if I had wanted.
Anyway, we can discuss this further if you'd like. Or we can stop. It doesn't bother me either way.

There isn't anything left 4 me 2 say since you validated what I have already said.
The soon 2 be renamed Ahlen Aces will never lose a game on purpose ever. Recruiting has been a pain in the arse 4 us and playing in a conference against teams that are twice your level or more is not good for players' morale but you deal with it and at least compete.

How can you say that after the last game. You had no players on the depth chart!

Stop that! The Ahlen Aces didn't do anything wrong.
Talk bad about me. I have broad shoulders, I can take it. I couldn't care less what you all think about me. I've had people talking bad about me since I took over the team. The only people that are happy with me are the players currently on my roster and, to be honest, those are the only people I am concerned about.

Tito - personally I couldn't care less what you guys are doing - have to say I wasn't paying attention to your roster before, until someone highlighted the absence of players. If you want to go down and rebuild from the bottom - that's fine by me, sometimes you have to burn something to the ground to build a dynasty.
That said, you shuld use the last few games to test some things out, 100% zone, 100% man, 100% run, 100% pass etc - get an idea of the game dynamics.
Will be interesting to see who stays in the league - Dublin or Ahlen?

The Aces did have people on their depth chart and were working really hard to put together a somewhat competitive team. The purpose that we set out with in the beginning of Tito's ownership was relegation, which Tito had mentioned before.
The Aces which we were preparing to play, had an old owner who had all CPU players and a few players who were still under contract. We didn't want to play a decent lineup against all CPUs because we could get crushed next year in a league with a 5+ level advantage or be somewhat competitive next year in a lower league. We choose to move down to a lower league for competitive purposes, as well as financial reasons because we don't plan on bringing in Free agents. Why would we intentially try to remain in a league where we would get smashed and have lower ticket sales and concessions instead of moving into a division where we should be able to continue to sell out our games. It makes way more fiscal sense.
Lastly, I know this is contrary to the competitive nature of the game and of many people. It's contrary to my own nature but I also like to think what's best in the long term for the team, and honestly, relegation is what's best for the team. Not going 1-15 this season and 3-13 next season. It's not like we are planning on tanking games in the future, just the one where we were preparing to play an all CPU team that had a LB as a kicker and punter. That's not what the Aces put forth and they whooped us worse than expected. Oh well, we'll survive and thrive in a lower division.

Some of this has already been going on. Part of what caused my lineup to be messed up to that extreme was "what if?" like...
"What if you played an Offensive Tackle as WR?" Would the XP be the same? Could he get open?
The results yesterday were very informative to be about some mechanical issues of GLB. We already have a pretty good idea of the tactics we hope to use in the future. But yes, now that our players have spent their SP and buying equipment, we hope to get a better idea of checking out our potential.
also:
OT with 15 spd and 9 catch had 5 catches and 2 drops...

LOL. it's obviously within the rules of the game set out by GLB developers. If they don't like what has gone down, they'll let the involved owners know. Leave it to the powers that be. Why waste your time discussing something that doesn't truly involve you? From what I've read from the Popes, they didn't do anything intentionally malicious. Yes, the Aces missed out on some XP, but that wasn't the intent of the Popes. I'm sincerely sorry it happened to you, but life moves on.

HAHA! Pathetic... You may not want the "respect" of owners, but these are the owners who can step in an petition against your possible relegation, if you read in the forums, 6 teams got their relegations overturned for this season, haha, you've stated enough to work against you...don't say I didn't say "told you so" when GLB pulls your skirt up and makes you look like a fool next season haha...
ps. I wouldn't bother editing it to make it "go away" already been screen shotted by numerous players, hence the reason I checked it out...glad they hand out keys to teams to the Circus (clowns)...'nuff said.
