Just write a script so anytime a suggestion post gets 5 thumbs up - a post is automatically made by Corndog that says "Interesting, thanks for sharing your idea. I will bring this up at our next meeting and we will take it under consideration for future updates."

you guys need to try an MMO sometime. The communication here at least exists.

They should just do away with suggestions all together, if someone has an idea, email Cornball

Could it be possible to set things up so that once a thread reaches a certain number of upvotes it is automatically moved to Epic Suggestions, then you could just comment on those? Let the users decide what features we'd like to see then you can tell us whether it is feasible or not.

Not sure why people geek out over epic suggestions? Does it really matter? If it's good it's not like the admins are missing it. It's not like there are thousands of suggestions per day that they aren't seeing.

I personally don't care what they call it, it would just be a way to separate the good ideas from the bad

The problem however is that once a suggestion reaches epic everyone assumes it is going to be part of the game.

Let's call them "Bob"

The ideal thing would be what others have suggested. Anything that gets more than X up votes (say 20) gets flagged in some way, and gets a response from staff. We don't need follow up or a discussion from staff. Just post with one of the following 3 options.

1) Not going to happen
2) Might happen
3) We would like this to happen

Then have the mods add the topic to the appropriate list.

Minimal effort. No real discussion, and lets the members know what might be coming, and that their voice is being heard.

Back in ye olden times, I tried to get something like this going. Unfortunately, the "Epic" forum is really just a "hey, people love this idea and keep bumping it, but it's not anywhere near the current plans, so let's hide it over there" forum.
