So the thread was locked by a moderator, who only has power on the forums. Meanwhile, it's Saturday - it's quite possible that admins are enjoying their weekend and taking a day off. Maybe don't throw a fit if the game takes a day or two (on a weekend) to investigate before banning a semi-paying customer?

It will take weeks, if it ever gets addressed, and it's not likely you'll get the result you want. Go on with your life as if this doesn't matter... because it doesn't.

It seems like you didn't bother to read the timestamp of when the thread was made. Anyhow several owners in our league have made posts/contacted support since before the weekend, and nothing has happened as of yet. We are just trying to get this resolved once and for all, I don't think thats too much to ask.

If this takes that long to get addressed, I would be more than a bit mad. We are all paying customers and I have provided more than enough proof.

I agree whole heartedly with you. But I have to think that if this is allowed to happen in the rookie seasons when it matters the least, what the hell is happening in the upper league when it actually does matter. When you have spent actual measurable amounts of time and money to win. What if someone on your own team is an alt, and no one gives a shit? Does it matter then?

Until this is answered I am out. I may be a GLB2 nob but I spent a considerable amount of money in GLB1. I was planning on doing the same here until this problem came up.

Bort may have a problem with that.

I remember a rather nasty bit of cheating being done in one of GLB1's Canadian leagues during Season 2. It took a while to suss out exactly what happened, but heads did in fact roll. I also remember getting 10,000 FP compensation for having been adversely affected. So some credit is due to Bort and company - they do have a track record of trying to keep the game clean.

Unfortunately, cheating in GLB (or attempts at cheating) goes back all the way to the beginning of the game. That's not due to any inherent flaw in the game code, that's a fault of the human code. Cheaters, sociopaths and losers are everywhere and always have been.

It took some time to root out exactly what happened in the 2008 event. It will probably take days or weeks to find out exactly what happened in this case as well. That's entirely proper - I would *want* the team of admins to take the time to ascertain if additional cheating or collusion was going on. As long as the end result is fairness and a clean game for all who have invested time and money in this site, I'm OK with waiting a bit.

It was already looked into and handled, thanks for bringing it to our attention.

However, we aren't going to publicly discuss actions taken against other users.
