I'm starting to think rec allowed % is of very dubious value ranking CBs. All 5 of my CBs on Rhode Island Falcons are built completely identical. They've got wildly different rec allowed % ratings from what one would consider elite to garbage.

The old method was better because three of my CBs made the top 10.

Well let me know if you guys decide to do that.

And you should give Rapper's QB to DADDY. Having 8 superstars, and therefore no backups, on one roster would be lulzy.

technically 4 of our superstars are backups as they're rookies.

It would be interesting though...

We will be able to put together a pretty interesting combo of SS's next season. I will have finally gotten my shit together to the point that I can actually make a SS QB or LB.

Its incredibly dubious as the cb facing the wr doesn't change the result of the play. The defense used does. The rest hinges on luck of whether your cb jumps the route or the wr drops the ball.

i have been of this opinion for a long time, exactly cause of the reason bhall mentioned, i like PD's more as an indication since it means the CB won the duel 100%, but that also has to be taken in account for times targeted since if the CB is the most targeted on a team it usually means that there is where the holes are since the QB will pass to the player most open if not hurried.

but in general pretty hard to value CB's on pass defense skills

I'll be doing it again at the end of this season. I looked at the top ten teams in Seasoned two days ago, and what I'm seeing overall is a lot fewer sacks/hurries, and lower %rec allowed. In other words, in Seasoned, CBs are recording stats more similar to CBs in the NFL (at least, from what I see in the top 10 ladder teams).

yeah pass defense is getting ok now.

question is, is that everyone pumping deflection through the roof, all the minor changes to pass D finally making a decent sim, or builds maturing.

No...this is a future Hall of Famer

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/player/62137

0 receptions allowed.
2 PD's
3.5 sacks
2 TFL's

Plus, he's come really close on a number of interceptions, and I have no doubt he's going to get a couple before his first season is through.

No such thing in this game. The players coverage doesn't dictate the throw, the play calling for both sides does.

At one point last season, about 20 games in or so, none of air raid's defenders had allowed a single reception. Hadn't been targeted either. Zones are fun like that.

Do KL's happen in GLB2? If so, are they being included in the formula?

Ya. I was pretty sure that's what it was since I'm guessing the sim has no way of knowing who was supposed to be in coverage in a zone at the time the throw was made, whereas with man, it's assigned at the snap.
