I disagree. I like the small window. Like posted above. Forces users to be more active. Not just sign a contract mid season and never log on again. The way it is now is perfectly ok IMO. I Had 3 teams I had to get contracts out for this last offseason. No problems what so ever.

Just wait until you get slammed with work, or are out of state for five days.

Then you would have only SEVEN days to work out contracts...
Assuming you are so slammed at a work doesn't involve using a computer... because no matter how slammed you are, there is always downtime.
And the hotel doesn't have wifi...
And you ran over your phone...
So.. basically only if your work slammed you into 1995.

And even if work does slam you into 95 - you've got slots for a GM, assistant GM, and recruiter. Have somebody take over one of those three spots, tell them to do contracts for you, and the majority of your retention is done. It's a 10 day window currently - while a bit longer would be nice, if someone is gone for ten whole days and can't log in to click the three buttons needed to send out new contracts (or the two buttons to accept), you've got a bigger problem than not sending out contracts.
