Which 2? About to watch these well positioned plays.

Well I wouldn't just expect tons of ints on that principle.

Most of my guys had at about 30 already. The biggest issue isn't that INT skills are low but that DBs get completely left standing flatfooted on any type of cutback routes all where a lot of your INTs should come from.

Yes! Let's make passing even more difficult and less rewarding!

Um. I built a guy for INT's. He got 3 out of 211 passes thrown his way.

He's a very good CB. Led the incredibly overpowered Oberon League in passes defended and was second in INT's. He played against some bad QB's, and yet...3.

Brett Favre used to throw more INT's than that just getting out of bed in the morning, never mind how bad rookie QB's would have it.

Now, I'm not all that keen on making passing harder (except for maybe Zorp), but things are way out of whack in favor of passing atm*.

*Provided you spend the time to figure out which pass plays don't leave your QB holding the ball for a month while the LB's come screaming in to pulverize him.

That's not a very good interception build.

I'm with you on that one. I think they just need make passes where the ball is in the air longer better defended and increase the viability of shorter passes.

Increase the viability of short passes? Did you miss last season?

Okay, non-snarky me for a moment...

What would you recommend I change to increase his INT's given that he's just starting his sophomore season.

No, I had a team that threw more short and medium passes than average as well as focusing on catching skills and didn't see much improvement. Wide open drops seemed to occur more often and stick out more in my head than rookie.

The best teams raked off of short passes against dag and zeb the entire second half of last season. Another problem you are having is looking at plays called short and medium as short and medium plays. Before builds all come together that is a huge mistake to make.

There's a really easy help IMO but I'm stopping on carrying peoples builds at this point. In the first season I felt the need to but I don't want to push peoples builds.

Well, my INT test didn't turn out terrible. 2 INTs by one of the guys I did in the first 2 games of the test. None since though.

I think interceptions would naturally increase if we fixed man coverage positioning. Defender should not be mirroring the receivers movements 2-3 yards deeper than the receiver.
