For us, we had to battle from down in the rankings for a while against sub-par teams so getting a chance to matchup against the top to possibly gain even more ranking is nice. I'm cool if they keep it, BUT...

I do completely see your side of it, and also don't have a problem with balancing out the divisions, if they are doing realignment, it should work to be more balanced.

And just my opinion to league shuffeling AND Division shuffeling:

I am totally OK with randomness, also because you never know how the new Season will be. You might have big Roster Changes or you get Adderfist as your DC and you suddenly win championships. What I mean is, that total randomnes is WAY better than partial randomness and you cant just sort out ALL divisions and leagues by hand. So we might now see, that Bruins or OG will not be in the payoffs, who cares? Its just one or 2 games. SoA which is loaded with players of mine wont prolly see it neither, but the League will be fun anyway.

What I basicly wanna say is that even if u start soorting out things now, it can end much worse in the end. We now have one murder Division in the Seasoned League, so? PPL will follow that Division, will talk about that Division and hell, thats a good thing! I cant see anything bad about it, but thats just my 2 cents.

the problem is i won't follow my division, the one that should matter. i also know unless the sim shifts to jebs strengths i won't win in the playooofs against any of those teams. i'm cool with that but i am not cool with giving 0 craps all season and knowing i'll make the playooofs

Just looked at ur division and yes...seems easy. Happens, tho. I see ur Point that this will suck but I cant see why you say you wont beat any of those teams in the playoffs...Also, you will still play those Teams in regular season.

OFC the current system isnt perfect, but we wont find a perfect one as you never know whats gonna happen. The only "real" solution would be a Champion/Ladder ranked League like World League, but we dont want to have that kinda stuff if I got it right...

but we can use the ladder to balance teams within a league. you fold a league, randomly assign to a new league but manually assign to division to keep balance. simple?
