Hopefully one of the big additions in season 3 is tournaments...That would definitely be a nice surprise.

Custom tournaments are needed pretty badly imo; organising through scrims is bad on so many levels with what you've said being one of the primary problems.

GLB has a chance to significantly harness their users to generate interest, smack talk and fun for their own tournaments which can only help the game long term. Hopefully one of the three big changes, the tournament flag already exists for games btw.

(random side note, how many people know that teams 1 and 2 are shirts and skins? (http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/team/1). You can even challenge them but no scrims ).

No, nothing that effects the ladder. Just tournaments that auto schedule games on that off day. It was a real pita to figure out what was going on in the tournaments this season when I would sign on and see 10 scrims having been played and had no idea if one of them was a tournament or just teams playing us for the fuck of it.

I agree with this - it helps a lot to keep the # of games played per season for each team to be very close. You'd see odd effects with my ratings in GLB1 with teams like RToF playing 2-3x as many games as other teams. (As I recall RToF managed to have the most wins and the most losses, and it wasn't close)
