Shouldn't matter how much pursuit a player has... If a freaking 70 something speed HB hits the edge untouched and turns upfield with ~10 yards to speed up, it should be a TD every time....

Things like this is why no one uses the run game, it's way too easy to stop... I mean come on.. A DT catching a HB? A VERY fast one at that?

Well, other than Dijibouti 2.0 who is the only team that can run all over my poor defense

And, I'm negotiating running a new team as both OC and DC next season, and I'm absolutely committed to building THE ultimate GLB2 run game.

Based on the HBs energy and morale, he's probably running more like a HB with mid 40s to low 50s sprinting by the time he gets tackled. He was still pulling away despite the angle, just not quite fast enough, which would make sense if he was running slower from the energy/morale damage.

Corndog said "hypothetically" energy might do as much as 20-30% damage to skills. I'd assume morale is similar. I'd bet another 10 points in conditioning, and that HB doesn't get run down by the DT on that play.

I already told you this is one example, i can pull up plays where he has 70+ energy turning upfield

I'm not taking the time to dig through your replays for you

If you want opinions on other specific plays, link'em.

You tell me. Which one actually ran faster? RB

Besides, the defender was taking a smarter path(good pursuit, i guess), predicting where the ball carrier would be in a few sec, instead of following his tails.

I'm telling you energy is not the reason. I think Xavori nailed it when he talked about pursuit, and it makes sense.

It's just utterly wrong that a defender completely outmatched in speed will catch the HB... Then whats the point? Might as well just make a pHB if our HBs will always get ran down.

The defenders are far outmatched in terms of speed.

The length of each bar already shows that that is the case.

Here's a play with my DT running down an HB. He has 20 pursuit and 10 sprinting and runs down the HB from WAY back. Only thing I can see is the HB's energy runs out much faster than the DT.
