not knocking your CB or any of the CBs on this list...

just saying their are too many constants not taken account for, then their are a few variables that are grossly overvalued.

Considering top CBs are getting 3 Ints/season... yes. It is.

Pass rushing only accounts for one category of this list. Would you like it to be left out altogether? Sorry, pass rushing is a part of the game. The other two categories, %rec allow, and takeaways (ints / ffs, ints being much more common) are coverage related.

Look, this list took a lot of time to put together, and it's only one metric. I challenge any of you to derive your own metric and make a list yourself. My list is perfectly valid in the sense that I took equal measurement of every CB and listed them in the order they came out. Is it perfect? Of course not. Why should you expect it to be? Especially when CBs are much more difficult to rank than, for instance, HBs or QBs.

this is why the list you made is lol...

because you don't understand how the situation of each joe needs to be represented against others...

If a joe plays a teams that throw 100 passes a game and gets 3 ints in a season, then another joe plays teams that throws 30 passes a game and gets 3 ints in a season, there is a big difference.

It just doesn't make sense to add it. Sure its a part of the game, but unless your CB is a blitzing CB (in that case he has no belonging ITT) the job of the CB is to make sure the WR doesn't catch the ball... How FFums and sacks are pushing joes to the top of this list is lol.

This isn't the NFL. Those stats are production. Those joes are producing tangible results for their teams. How can we neglect that?

Look, you make a list of the top CBs, defend it with math, or stats, or even just well defined reason, and we'll compare lists. I bet we get a lot of overlap.

Uhh, his list accounts for rec allowed per target.

I think he's saying it doesnt factor number of targets into the interception count. Like INTs per target. Either way, I'm not going to factor that in. It would be easy enough to do, but there's a reason they don't do it that way in real life. No sport does.

....the takeaway part heavily favours pass rushing too, since FF QB's isn't hard to do compared to getting an int.
your also alienating non pass rushing CB's since there is a whole category they get automatic 0 points in.

that's just 2 things
