tbh I don't know much about how the FG settings work... I just put in a safe that will cover pretty much everything i want kicked, above the safe i want punted. I have no idea why it didn't fire a FG if you say your max fg range was 50 and you were 49 yards out. But that's not the bug you are broadcasting, you think the spike is buggy, in which this case it 100% is not.

Are you not able to read? I clearly lay out my issue in the OP. The call on 2nd down has nothing to do with it, the entire point is that you would NEVER see a spike on a 3rd down followed by a Punt. Just take a moment to think why would I need to stop the clock down by 2 in FG range just to punt it away with no timeouts.
If the sim doesn't know a punt is coming after the spike, then that point is invalid. This is a simulation, not real life.
The spike is necessary or you will run out of time...

Get away from just the spike, I'm ok with spiking the ball in that situation. I'm not ok with the Spike + Punt.
