Oh the advantages of knowing you'll never have an agent flake out and refuse to re-sign...

On the other hand, if the agent for your players does flake out, you're going to have one hell of a hole in your roster

Wow! Obviously you're not cheating or anything (or you wouldn't have posted here - and I've read about the inability to renegotiate contracts when over) - but why have they still not fixed this? Here, have a couple hundred free points in heart! Don't worry other teams, heart doesn't matter THAT much....

Looks like that has been resolved with all the "Medium" contracts.

Was this forced or optional? Might be handy to know for the future..

I had been begging for an anwer on this for a whole week. Corndog rather replied to some other stuff in exactly the same thread. I dont think he wants ppl to keep talking about it. No idea why, but sth seems weird.

My best guess is still, that they bugfixed some traits which didnt change the salary as it stated

That was forced and I was untold about it. I'm kinda beefed about it given that I wasn't informed (and no announcement or anything like that).

I have to fix all the contracts, without knowing I would have been playing all these games with everyone on medium contracts.

I don't mind having to adjust, I just would have liked to be informed that the change was occurring.

Yet, this team still plays under their cap: http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/roster/161

One of 2 examples we showed them a week ago

only 35K though. But I agree - would be nice to fix it.

I'm guessing they have to modify it manually which is why it hasn't been fixed - takes a long time.

well since we already had pure medium contracts they can't really fix it that way

at least the reason why queen city went over seems obvius, i'm still wondering why we went over, think it may be some rounding of SS players wages, that could vary with the scaling

Dont get me wrong. I dont want that they make all contracts to "low" or anything to fix it. All I want is that they fckin explain whats causing this bullshit as teams like Bulls calculated hard with Caps in Rookie just to see it wont work out in future seasons!

All I ever wanted was some sort of reply from those darn admins. Especially if this crap is going to happen in future seasons as well or if they found the root cause and fixed it.

I know its a hassle - but it seems like it would be pretty simple to move 1 (or whatever it takes) contact to LOW -- AND send a PM to the team owner explaining what just happened - and at that point; the owner could fix it however they want...

No.

Moving that player to low would drop their chemistry to 50 from 100. Even if the owner moved that player back up to medium, they're then going to have to regain that lost chem.

well wouldn't really fix the issue since it was meant that for a rookie team would stay under cap going to sophmore acording to what's written. so it's a bug or something they didn't think of would happen. it's not the team trying to cheat.

The boss and i spent a lot of time calculating wages and I would like to know what causes this increase, in case it's not a bug. But i'm unsure if anyone is looking into it

the queen city issue was that the different tier players get's different % increase in wage but no answer what's wrong for a team of all same year suddenly going over

Sorry - I was considering a rookie team where that wouldn't have an effect (at this exact moment)

It has to be fixed though...how would you propose it gets fixed?

my two superstars weren't the only reason I was over ~3 mil

The salaries across tiers don't scale linearly. In testing we were combatting issues where teams were manipulating the superstar system (taking less overall players but maximizing quantity of superstars, e.g. having ~33 players but 11 superstars).
