You and I know 2.5 YPC is the only thing people are after Gerr.
If there is anything our shared understanding of offense from season 13 or whenever it was has taught us is that 2.5YPC is a first down every time.

That is fairly well rushing the ball, considering how much harder it is for a non-boosted team to rush against a boosted one than it would be for them to pass.

In hind-sight I would obviously run more, since passing just clearly wasn't an option.

I was hoping targeting early progression openings would be enough, but your line seemed to be in the face of the QB before he even realized he had the ball most plays.

2.5 average is not that great as that means for every time you get a 4 yard rush, you have to balance it out with a 1 yard rush. It only takes 1-2 of those 1 yard rushes to stall a drive. I like to target 3+ YPC and am happy anytime I can hold a good rushing team to under 3 YPC. I just wish they didn't include sacks in the rushing stats.

But RR is in no way a good rushing team, so grabbing 2.5YPC to me means I wish I had run the ball more.

You had the 4th most rushing yards during the regular season, so ya, I would consider you a good rushing team.

Touche, I wouldn't know I didn't actually pay attention to the regular season.

Ooh yah, good point, I did manage to put in a bunch of outside runs against QB teams, so thats probably where our rushing stats came from.
