probably need to look into it, but if you guys thought QBs would ever be able to run with less stamina than the rest... well you were sorely mistaken.

I made the same egotist mistake with the first QB but rerolled after one game. I'll look into his energy but he is at 44 right now.

Is it possible that toughness can reduce handoff energy loss? Perhaps the sim views passes and handoffs as physical interactions. Leadership's tooltips also references impacting handoffs and it improves team energy and morale, so more leadership may reduce the toll of such plays on the QB as well.

I don't think anyone should think rushing QB's can live without stamina - but it shouldn't even be possible to create a QB, no matter how he is built, that will go from 100 energy to 1 energy after 7 no scramble, no rushing, no contact, never even leave the pocket plays on the first drive of a game.

What is there to say? A player with poor conditioning runs out of energy.

Hey, just because you slacked off on toughness and conditioning doesn't mean it's a bug.

Do you have reading comprehension issues? There was no 'slacking off' on conditioning or toughness. His max conditioning is 25. He is maxed out at 25. Toughness is at 20 - max is 28. And btw he wasn't engaged in any hard hitting interaction during those 7 plays, so by definition toughness shouldn't be a factor.

I watched a few plays by one of my QBs - 40 conditioning

Series 1:
play 1: hand off - ends at 83 energy
starts play 2 at 99 energy
finishes play 2 at 83 (incomplete
starts play 3 at 97
ends play 3 at 73
(punt)

Series 2:
play 1: starts at 97
incompletion - finishes play at 81
starts play 2 at 96
incomplete - finishes play 2 at 77
starts play 3 at 95
completion - finishes play 3 at 78
starts play 4 at 78
completion - finishes play 4 at 70
starts play 5 at 82
completion - finishes play 5 at 57

Mine looks pretty reasonable at least for the first 2 series

maybe you shouldn't have maxed your conditioning out at 25?

I mean did you seriously look at it and go... that looks fine.

the issue i see is that my QB as an example use 19 energy on the hand off but then spends 5 more energy running around pointlessly, why can't he just turn around and wait after the full hand off motion? saving those 5 energy.

and i didn't post conditioning on the guy since the issue i have isn't the energy used on motion but wasting energy after

this is a bigger issue on longer runs and the QB can usually not do any usefull blocks

Obvious advice: I recommend that the first cap booster be used on conditioning. And the second. And the third.

After seasons 3, 4, and 5 you'll get a cap booster. It allows you to increase a cap 5 points. That's +15 Conditioning.

Thanks for the info - I didn't know that.

The current energy loss still seems too severe but at least this offers some hope if I decide to keep the dot alive (doubtful).
