Nope. But I doubt someone would be willing to use a Superstar to test speed.

Waste of a Superstar slot and increased salary for the team just for an experiment that can be approximated without the use of a Superstar.

See, this experiment though would work on a superstar. I'd be cheap enough and you'd have enough Sp to round out your hands and other required stuff.

But why not do it on a regular dot first to see if it has a chance of working? Much like early GLB1, the game is an arms race right now. Unless you've got a network worth of superstar dots at the ready, using a superstar for an experiment like an all-speed WR seems like a huge risk when a normal WR can approximate the results.

It isn't really an "experiment" on a Superstar dot. On a regular dot you are pretty much wasting a ton of SP. On a superstar you are still going to have some SP for some skills in the end.

Yeah, but the point is, you aren't going to take sprinting to 97 first on a Superstar because there's no point. Your QB can't hit you that well, and you can't catch worth shit.

My Speedster WR is getting his Receiving skills up first, then blasting speed. I'd rather be a viable target from day 1 to the last day than to have incredible down field speed and be unable to pull the ball in. Unlike GLB1, there is no penalty to getting the necessary skills in place to catch the ball before taking my sprinting to 100.

He basically loses all his speed whenever he tries to turn (Footwork underrated) but his slant and streak routes are deadly, even with just 20 quickness he does get up to speed really fast.

It actually kind of makes me rethink the way I was originally going to build my CB, with more balanced sprinting/quickness over the first 3 seasons~. It seems entirely more effective to just go Footwork/Sprinting instead. Especially I guess with stuff like Chase Down / Closing Speed. Hmm.

I think you are attributing a lack of route technique to a lack of footwork.

Just for the hell of it, I'm up to 97 sprinting, and it will be at 100 when the season ends. Still not really doing much, except on streak routes. Hey ... at least I'm having fun with it!
