C'mon Cav, you're smarter than that. A low contract comes with a sure, quantifiable (even if not exact), chem hit to playing ability. Brees and Brady don't have to deal with that, paycut or not.

All my players are more than willing to play for free, but I am not sure it is a good idea to allow that

On a more serious note, I see teams already fitting in 5+ superstars, that is already in the high end if you ask me and a team like Providence have something like 40 players on high contracts. The salary cap looks like it is more than generous already.

Does Providence have a 40 man roster ?
1 of the Rookie tms I GM has 2 Superstars & had to give low contracts to a couple plrs to manage that. Rest are all on Med Contracts.
I'm finding the cap fairly challenging.

My tm may be filled with plrs whose traits increase salaries also, so this also factors in. GMs & Recruiters have a much tougher job now.
Another option for cap relief would be nice to help in that aspect.

Providence has a 41 man roster, and only 3 are on medium contracts. Dropping 2 players to get all high contracts isn't that painful, and is similar to roster constructs that will happen with multiple superstars.

The rookie team I'm on with 5 Superstars also has 41 players, although 2 kickers, and has 8 low contracts to fit all the superstars in. This includes a superstar QB, which is quite the salary hog.

Yes SS QBs are expensive. We have 1 & an OT.
I put the tm together at very last minute, so I was thrilled to get them.
We'll be seeing alot more superstars soon, I figure.

NFL players only take chem hits and suck after they get a huge raise, not a paycut.
