i will have to find the play but this sort of thing happened with our TE... linebacker intercepted they both fell down... both get up linebacker runs towards endzone... TE got up and ran ten yards towards middle of field to engage a DE in a blocking interaction...

If I had to guess, when there's a fumble the player that picks it up is classified as an offensive player to the person who fumbled. Either way still an issue.

WR [intercepted] fumbles and then instead of simply tackling the CB, goes and blocks someone...
Pick 6 results.
It looks like intended receivers who [get intercepted] lose the ball are not being given normal "free ball" instructions.
Here's a similar play with the same issue:

Totally broken - the dot making the int ran for the opponents end zone instead of running to the nearest tackler. Unacceptable.

http://glb2.warriorgeneral.com/game/replay/25879/1851922 Another issue of the WR going all idiotic not going for the person who did the INT.

If it ever matters...if the wr isn't going to get to his feet until the guy is 20+ yards away, I'm not positive it's going to ever make much of a difference if the wr pursues him when he gets up. It's not like this happens after every pick, so the only evidence I have to go on this is that the receiver will only behave like that if he dives for the reception.

Can we admit that it's a problem now?

I meant Fumble, not INT also. But, yeah, big problem for both.
Yeah, my post was directed more toward EAGLES and his insistence that this isn't an issue.
