I'm not sure it works like that. Morale seems to affect your techniques. You're more likely to make mistakes, fumble, drop a pass, blow a block, overthrow your receiver, etc. I wouldn't say your guy is more likely to "run away" from defenders any more than his running style dictates.

Well, I was trying to base it more on an actual person since I have trouble assigning a level of morale to a little toon dude. But yes, running style certainly helps determine the path, and morale helps determine how you negotiate said path.

Heart maybe? Low heart = weak RB who is scared of contact. It'd be nice to get a real answer from someone who knows.

More likely than not it's just a pathing issue.

I believe heart only affects your loss of morale rate

Also impacts its recovery from good plays.

I feel like it could just be pathing since i remember RBs doing this on the test server...

Well, on Erkner we have a HB who is running on Elusive Style and he is doing Moves at the sideline a good amount of Times. I am not talking about my own Toon as he is pretty much doing OPs pathing.

Sometimes he fakes the Defender pretty good but like 70% it ends in about the same yardage that he would have gotten if he ran OOB.

So it can just be a coincidence but for me it seems like the rushing style plays a big role here.

Interesting, toughness makes the joe act differently?

Whole time i thought it was just to decrease morale and energy loss

After putting points into toughness/heart my RB managed to cutback for a few extra yards.

Unless I'm missing something, I'd say that "cut back" actually COST him a few extra yards.
