I have to say that game made me chuckle. I sent 8 defenders at their HB and every play he managed to go at least 4 yards untouched by a single defender, if not just run all the way for a touchdown. You would think good defensive planning would at least get some reward. Guess next time I will have to go GL. Just don't throw plz.

the problem is that run blitzes, for the most part, just don't work very well.

I think there might be some build mechanic to it. (the need for ridiculous amounts of blitz awareness, run break block, tackling skills). But if that is the case it is sort of unfortunate that there is need for all that stuff in order for 8 defenders to touch a HB within 5 yards of the LOS.
Maybe a tactic that reverses the thinking behind Blitz Awareness?
Run Focus (reverses Blitz Awareness focus to HB/FB rather than QB)
Pass Focus (keep it the way it apparently is. React to QB first, ball carrier based on awareness)
Or maybe the LB's are just too close to the LOS and getting eaten up in a glob? I dunno. There is definitely some bit of ridiculousness in it. I felt the same way on the test server when Cdog and DD's backs were tearing me up.

Blitz Awareness is really cheap tbh

What the game really lacks at this moment (and that has always been the case in GLB1 as well) is the ability for defenders to get in the back field and make tackles. You never see a DT break a block and tackle the HB for a loss, something that is fairly common in football. In GLB the running back is usually already past the LOS as the block interaction begins.

for what it's worth pretty much none of our OL bots have more than like 20 pass block power or technique...very run focused.
