I agree, having the S1 bots at the top for their entire life because they've played more games doesn't make sense.

Especially with the 'build experienced player' option which results in lots of players who don't play full schedules their first season.

But I think it should probably be called something like "All-Pro Rankings" or something instead of HoF if it's a season by season thing.

This. HoF clearly connotes a career award for long term greatness. All Pro is a much better term for a seasonal award.

But it does make sense to do it this way - think of how many players were amazing because of one GLB season's poor pass blocking (was that season 8 when DEs went batshit crazy?), or how many guys were great in ISLAM but not once the running game got variation.

The idea of restarting each season is fine, but last season's numbers are lost, right? It might be nice if players could see how they finished each year in the "HoF" or "yearly all-GLB rankings".

The Rushing QBs before tagging and DPC when you could use the QB at TE exploit.

Yeah, I agree it makes sense to have single season leaders, but then you need to be giving out trophies and achievements for the single season HoF champs. I've got my league MVP trophy, but if my status is going to reset each season, I should get a trophy for HoF champ too.

You can select each season.

Good luck finding a rookie over a soph in the offence list anyway

Other than the retired experienced players at 75+ lol

There's a season drop down box.

Yeah, this is basically the only issue with the current system. It should probably be broken down by season /and/ age level.

Looks like it also takes a league id

That probably makes sense.

Is that why the bio page is broken this season? I found my player, he's not at 19,901 on the HoF list, he's just not on the top 100.

Actually, no, I'm not sure how that would work.

What if you like made in the middle of the season and wasn't experienced. Then you are at the top of the rookie ranks for half the season the next season, then go from rank 1 to rank 300 when you hit sophomore midseason?

Probably a 19,901 way tie for last.

It's also possible that it's using cached data from before your ladder game, and it will take awhile to update.

Looks like it caches for 12 hours.

When we talked about the experienced button on the test server, the consequence of being "caught up" was that you lose all of the games that you would have played in exchange for not playing from behind for the whole time. This worked for the career, because you just had 1 to 20ish less games than everyone else as a consequence.

If you are a rookie player on a sophomore team, you need to get lumped in with the sophomore players.
