That's why I lost interest in original GLB. I'm very happy with GLB 2 so far. Great job Bort & Co.

I played GLB1 since season 8 or so. Must say I like 2.0 a lot better.

Bigger fan of GLB2 than GLB1, really enjoy being able to create players mid-season to fill a need or changing my player at the end of the season to fix a build or change a strategy.

Well you can do that rookie season but that won't be available the whole way. And it will be more difficult to completely change your strategy once we get to vet league. But ya so far so good.

I'll chime in too.

Game is fun and has most of what I loved about early GLB1. Just wish I had some of the same dudes on my team with me!

Good job Bort/DD - I hope you are successful here. Kind of a strange position since there are probably a LOT of people like me who are using up GLB1 flex (so this game hasn't generated any income from me yet).

I just like the concept of your players being worth watching in less than one year of your real life. I was in GLB1 from season 4 until 16ish, and if you wanted to make pros, new dots were unwatchable for a good 7, 8 seasons. Plus, if real life got in the way for a few weeks and you left the game, your players were "ruined". This one seems much more forgiving, and I'm loving it so far.

One thing I can say, I have seen a few nice additions that aren't really game related but forum related. Good job on that GLB 2.0. Other than that I don't hate 2.0, but I don't love it in the least either. I still prefer 1.0, but I am still hopeful.

I wouldn't say it was awesome but it's not bad

its fun for the same reasons early glb was

I think the engine rewards aggressive play too much and I dont think there is enough meaningful choice for most positions in skills or SA's

the ladder as it is makes 0 sense and is not sustainable

Attributes are unintuitive, a huge noob trap, and forces pointless trial and error until someone bothers to model it

I do think it'd be a good idea to have player creation show the changing skill caps as you tweak attributes and pick traits. There's really not a good reason to hide such info until after the attribute/trait selection. It'd dramatically cut down on retired test player builds that folks are churning out.
