Out of curiosity
What are the tie breaking procedures
Head to head should almost certainly be first and we lost to New York but I'd be interested to know anyways

this is the league forum, any person can comment in this thread. pretty sure tiebreaking is done head to head, then probably by either mutual head to head score (w/l versus common opponants) or by score differential

Tie breaker is H2H then points against. They say it follows GLB1 tie breaker format.

1. ministry -not the best win rate lately, but there destruction of deeproute gives them the top spot.
2. omaha - have had 2 stumbles in recent play, but all in all have been winning with a consistent offense and just enough defense.
3. deeproute - lost badly to ministry but has consistently beaten league teams, i just dont think they could handle omaha's offense.
4. detroit - detroits defense has kept them in playoff contention as there offense has yet to find the groove it had earlier in the season. would give any team a hard time, but can they score?
5. tampa - tampa is on a 7 game win streak and have been putting up very strong offensive numbers, but it has been against very weak competition.
6. new york - new york does have a win against ministry, but there 22-0 blanking by omaha and weak record in league play has to leave them worried.
Seems reasonable. Ministry certainly gave us a punch to the gut. We were on a massive win streak, then lost a ladder game close, and lost badly to ministry.
I think the Defense actually did okay against Ministry. If the offense can hold the ball a bit longer there, I don't think we give up as many points. Perhaps I'm wrong.
With all the experience points, teams change pretty dramatically in a short period of time.

Yah usually you can take a risk with a build after a bump up with points and right the ship but until you do might suffer or succeed. Each points addition has a much larger weight on how you do right now than it will in 5 seasons.

absolutely, the way the experience points come in glb2 does make it more interesting. i am unable to watch other teams games so i just have to go off of what i gather. i know looking at ladder rankings the top two teams are ministry (137) and detroit (139) the rest of the league is a bit back from that. i think next season will be very interesting to see how things ebb and flow and who goes on streaks at the right time. i am encouraged to see alot of team owners starting to participate on here.
It's taken a while and though Reaper and I talked through here, we actually chat a bit on the chat module.
What more than a projections we can do a predictions thread as well to give some interest in the league of Osprey!

sounds good to me, i say the more things the better. would definitely get people that are in the league to be more active in it and maybe get more active owners in the league as well. i was thinking about doing an awards thing at the end, not that it is something you can pin on your page but just recognition to some people. like a shout out to deacon from omaha for turning around that team after marine went inactive almost immediately. its nothing short of impressive what he has done with a shit situation.

I have a big feeling that Ministry of Dotball will be one of the two teams in the Finals.
