Yeah, that sounds about right.

I think at that point a lot of the S1 teams will be recruiting S2 Superstars because they will be as good or better than the S1 players, but also I think there is a salary savings by recruiting players that are a season behind...

Bort might need to enforce up and down age caps to ensure that there isn't a big loophole in the salaries at that level.

Is there a limit to how many superstars can be on a team?

Just the salary cap, to my knowledge, and a superstar costs +150% salary, plus the extra 6-18% or so added on by their other two traits. So even the top teams will have to have a few nonstars distributed across the roster.

So a superstar linebacker will run you about 250k per season. With a 6-7 million cap, realistically you're only going to be at around 1/3rd superstars, possibly less.

Id like to know when we'll be able to send out contracts for season 2??

If it waits too long - we'll lose chemistry right? (if this isn't implemented in time to avoid the CPU cutting people as contracts expire

with or without superstars, i really just want the 43 dots that will be mad for someone who is active. it will be a real team unlike half the teams we have now. i should just be allowed to buy an inactive owner's team and make a real team.

Can't really link to it. Go to Create Player, pick a position, then check the tooltip on the box for Experienced.

So no making 20 experienced players on the last day of the season and retiring them all for a superstar.

That's lame, the email blast promoting GLB2 didn't go out until day 26. oh well.

The current teams (which will be sophomore next season) won't have superstars on them, or will have rookie superstars (that you'd be hoping can catch up in SP). For the whole first wave of GLB2, the first 5 seasons, the highest level players will not be superstars, but I'm sure that a few superstars will catch up to the highest levels. The age advantage will be there for a lot more of your dots, though, because one agent can only have 3 superstars at a time (and one of those three is a DT/OL/K/P)

This is what I was wondering. So I don't need to reset my team to get my superstars on my team. They will just be rookies playing with my sophomores.

chemistry is by games played on team, not by days together

From what I understand there's an overlap at the end of the season from where you aren't removed from your team by the end of your last contract but can still sign S2 contracts. It's only about 3 days, which should cause some hilarity.

I'd wager most SS LBs are going to cost a lot more that. I've got regular LBs on my team that are $210,000.

Yeah, there ought to be a way to get confirmation that players will be resigning before that date that causes an auto-accept during the resigning period.
